In many of the reviews, the comment was,' it is a bed'. This is true. The room seemed to be clean. I had reserved two rooms. One with a queen bed and the other with two full sized beds. When we got there, there was a mix up in the booking and we got two rooms with full sized beds. The room was hot and with two sleeping in a full bed, we need cool. There was no elevator in the hotel. I have disagreeable knees, so that was not good news. It worked ok, but it came down to, 'it is a bed'.

Nice for the price

Posted 25-Jul-2015
Pros: Staff, location
Cons: Carpet, breakfast
Location: The hotel is at the crossroads of I-70 and CO 6 - enough said
Good hotel, good price, good location close to everything (but that's any hotel in Dillon, CO). Staff is excellent, but overall condition is just... OK. Can't complaint, since the Prepaid option was the cheapest option available. Rooms are a bit small for families, but would be OK if no children were present.

Ok hotel, no elevator, poor continental breakfast

Posted 21-Jul-2015
Pros: Location & price.
Cons: Continental breakfast options.
Location: Lake Dillon, skiing (winter), drive up to the Continental Divide (via Hwy 6) and hike around.
A city-wide power outage kept up from being able to check in upon arrival, so left my mobile # with desk clerk who said he would call when power was restored. Then he didn't call. Finally called the hotel and phone was working (so power was back on), then he explained he could not call 'long distance' from the hotel - and in Breckenridge, CO almost every traveler's cell phone would be a 'long distance' call - so not sure what he was thinking when he made the original offer to call me. Long day of travel was made a little longer by having to carry bags up stairs to 3rd floor. Not a big deal, but travelers need to know about lack of an elevator as this could be a problem for some. Room was clean and comfortable, in line with expectations for this category of hotel. Breakfast, however, was pretty weak by any standards. Minimal items, mostly prepackaged, no fruit when I checked. It felt more like going to a gas station store than to a hotel continental breakfast bar. At the price point, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. Would consider staying there again, at a low price point and just have lower expectations next time around.

We needed a roll away bed and was not able to get one as the hotel only had 1 for the entire motel. Breakfast offered did not offer many choices.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Was staying here for the weekend, but on Saturday morning, found out there was no Hot Water, had not had hot water since the evening before, amazing these days. Also, AC froze in the middle of the night so room was a Sauna around midnight, had to open window which provided very little help. Gave them another chance and it was lost. Guess I won't stay with them again EVER!.

Basic sleeping accomodations

Posted 20-Mar-2015
Pros: Convenient location. Cheap
Cons: Complete remodel, add an elevator, new mattresses and linens. Some customer service training for front desk staff.
Location: Near all the ski areas in Summit County--which is the only reason I stayed here and the only reason I would recommend anyone else do as well.
First, they didn't have my reservation when I arrived at midnight. Then, the lady at the desk took 15 minutes trying to figure it out instead of just giving me a a room, which they had available. Next, I find out my room is on the third floor and there's no elevator. Which is great since I just flew in from sea level and haven't adjusted to the altitude yet and now have to schlep my luggage three flights. Place looked like it was last updated/redecorated in the '70's. Old sheets and pillows, crummy bed spread and no blankets (winter in the Rockies and no blankets??) Mattress was hard as a rock. Breakfast was barely passable. Need I say more?
