“Fantastic place”
Booked via Expedia on recommendation from Tripadvisor. Property in 3 minutes from hotel to Gondola or a courtesy shuttle bus run. 4 O'clock ski run passes by door so you can ski back at the end of the day. We were in Breckenridge to celebrate our wedding anniversary and husband's 40th birthday. Staff went out of their way before and during our visit to ensure that we had the best experieince - even sourced a birthday cake which was placed in our room while we were out to dinner. Restaurant reservations were made for us for both special nights after a request by email before we arrived. Rooms (booked a one bed condo) excellent, facilities great, location - couldn't have been better for us, staff excellent. Made use of the comp shuttle. Just remember that you will have a resort fee to pay when you check out - we knew this but some may not have read the booking conditions. Overall, would go back in a heartbeat.
“fantastic stay at Mountain Thunder Lodge”
We booked this accommodation based on other reviews, and it lived up to all expectations. The room was cosy, comfortable and immaculately clean, the kitchen was well equipped enough to cook any meal. The staff were extremely helpful and the shuttle service was really handy even though the condos are a short walk from the main street. All in all a great stay and we will be returning.
“Brilliant hotel, will return”
We really enjoyed using Mountain Thunder as our base for boarding in Breceknridge. If we return to Breck we will definitely go there again. It would be nice if it had a bar for après ski but it's so close to the local markets that it's not a problem to buy your own. The rooms are extremely well kept although the pillows can be soft.
“Excellent”
Our 3rd stay at Mountain Thunder and would recommend it for everyone. Excellent service from all staff. Good location near to town and ski back. Rooms very comfortable
