Keystone Resort Lakeside Village

Posted 13-Oct-2014
Pros: view, kitchen in room
Cons: upgrade to the mattress
Location: movie theatre just a few miles up the road Snake River Saloon - saw a GREAT band Friday and Saturday night
There were a few dirty handtowels in our unit when we checked in. We stayed in a studio that had a kitchen which was fully stocked and nice. There was a safe in our closet and extra pillows which was great. The mattress was not that comfortable. Also for some reason there were 2 top sheets on the bed but no fitted sheet so hard to keep the bed sheets from coming off. Loved the fireplace and view of the mountains.

It was a great place. Beautiful, comfortable, large roomy condo. The only downside was not having kitchen towels, pot holders, and coffee filters, but when we called the were brought to us.

Not what you pay for

When I booked this room online it had a beautiful view with a balcony overlooking a lake but when we got there we were in the middle of two buildings with no balcony and a view of the parking lot and dumpsters. When I asked them about it they just said sorry sir. I will not stay there again it was a joke trying to find where to check in and then you will spend 30 minutes trying to figure out where to park. Deffinately not worth the money.

Wonderful surprise

Posted 05-Sep-2014
Arrived at the keystone lakeside resort. Check in was great and personell was very helpful and courteous. We rented a 2 bedroom unit it was very nice and decorated tastefully, I would have loved to have my whole family here what a beautiful place and views of lake right outside my windows which had seating in window seals. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped if u wanted to cook. Would love to stay again...

Clean, nice amenities, matress not comfortable

Checking in is complicated and Expedia does NOT provide you that information. Call Keystone in advance to find out exactly which registration desk is open and get clear directions from them-other staff not well-versed outside of their specific job duty and will send you on a wild goose chase. Don't go to Lakeside Village condos directly. No one there can help you. Very few signs; probably designed for regulars, not easy for first-time guests.

We thought we'd have a balcony because that's the picture which was shown. The fridge made noises off and on our entire stay but especially noticed at night time. Don't like paying the resort fee. What is that for anyway?

A Bit Shocked

Posted 19-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay but when we booked we were told that the hotel will charge an additional fee which we were prepared for but once we checked out there was an additional fee that was assessed which was not in the fine print. This is ridiculous because our stay ended up costing $100 more than we budgeted for and that is unacceptable.
