Quaint n quiet

Posted 27-Jul-2015
This was a great place although for the price per night I expected a little more to be offered. It was right in the heart of downtown Frisco, which was great because we walked everywhere. I would have liked some sort of breakfast foods or something extra for what we paid for.

Right on Main Street in Frisco

Posted 07-Jul-2015
Hotel Frisco has great location in Frisco. Close to shops, restaurants & tourist attractions! Only problem, we could hear people in the next room very clearly & they were loud. Our room had an adjoining door & think this was the problem. Looks like they had done some renovating, but didn't finish some of the work. Holes in the wall that were just patched up & not painted. Looks like curtain rod had been replaced & had lots of unfinished holes in wall with those also. Not sure if they are letting the Hotel "go" in a sense, but could use some TLC. I used to live in the mtns, so I am familiar with the Hotel Frisco. Overall, had a nice stay here!

Lovely

Top floor rooms are hot in July but the bed and the rest of the setup was delightful. Comfortable and in the cutest part of town. Fun place to stay.

Frisco

Posted 03-Jun-2015
Pros: I liked the location which was downtown within walking distance to restaurants
Cons: Basic up-keep
Location: Food and entertainment
The hotel is old and needs some basic remodel work. The wood work needed staining and the grout was falling out of the tub tiles and floor tiles. The spots that lacked grout had mold growth. Seems like most of the fixes would be basic TLC. The room I had was a little small and seemed cramped. The room did not have an option for air conditioning.

Rooms were separated by a thin door with no seal, so noise was an issue for both sides. Hotel staff was not available in he morning, which made getting any type of assistance out of the question. Lastly, the room phones didn't work. Not all bad though! The beds were comfy and clean, and the view was sweet.

Hotel Frisco (Copper Sunsation)

Posted 21-Apr-2015 on Hotels
Took the wife up to Frisco, so we could go to Sunsation at Copper Mountian. I liked that HF is right on Main St and close to the Summit Shuttle. Les (I think that is how you spell he name) was super helpful telling us what was going on and where to go in Frisco.

Just quick overnight. Nothing bad, nothing great. Room was small, little run down. Check in and out were a breeze

Charming hotel in the center of Frisco

Posted 16-Apr-2015
Location: Frisco is a ski town with an assortment of very good restaurants, sporting goods shops, and some really nice little shops.
This hotel is as cozy and charming as can be. The building is old but the facilities inside are modern, room was very clean and nicely equipped with large flat-screen TV and small refrigerator. The upstairs lobby area is warmly furnished in a way that made me feel right at home. There's a great selection of books to read and board games & such for the kids (big and little).

I won't go back

Posted 08-Apr-2015 on Hotels
We stayed two nights here. The check in was easy, almost too easy, not sure how I feel about not showing ID or actually having to talk to someone to get into my room. Other than check in and check out we didn't go into any part of the hotel. I loved that in other reviews I read about the cozy lobby, cozy - that's a nice way of saying small and cramped. But on to the room, honestly I was SOOOOOO close to leaving and forfeiting my money when we got to the room. There was such a nasty moldy smell I just knew I wouldn't be able to relax, much less sleep, even the pillows smelled. I decided to buy pillows and tough it out since I had prepaid for the room. CONS: the smell, obviously, the furniture was in poor shape, the closets were covered with curtains on rods that were literally coming out of the wall, there is no A/C (and yes it was very warm in the room even though it was cool outside), the door knobs were old and loose, the bathtub didn't drain well, PROS: there was a door in the room that led outside to a porch that had a gate right next to the back parking area (this was very nice to have), the location was great
