Good value for location

Basic hotel- we had the apartment with private entrance which we liked. Very roomy! My only complaints were slow internet connection & the outside hot tub seemed a bit dirty when we used it but would consider staying again if price was right.

I like the access of the room

Posted 27-Mar-2015
Pros: Location. I have stayed here before and liked the room I was in. It was a two bedroom suite.
Cons: Customer Service. There just was none.
Location: Not much to share. There are a few bars and restaurants. Nothing to brag about.
First night there were no sheets on the bed. Not a good sign. The noise was very loud from outside the room. Clanging noise all night long. Had a hard time getting to sleep. I could hear all the noise in the lobby. The room was nice but no insulation from the noise. Internet was very very slow. I used a different source other than the hotel. The hotel lacked service. There was no service. The price was a bit high for the lack of accommodations. I feel I overpaid. I have had condo's in the area that were nicer for less. Location was the only plus.

Ski trip

Posted 25-Mar-2015
Pros: Older, quaint, comfortable, excellent location.
Cons: Larger hot tub towels needed. These were very small and couldn't wrap after getting out of tub nor large enough to actually absorb much water.
Location: Perfect location to access ski resorts. Wonderful breakfast restaurants within blocks. Nice dinner place next door.
Loved the quaint hotel on Main street with shops and good food. Atmosphere fit the skiing occasion.

Great location right in center of town. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast not included but plenty of choices in walking distance.

Disappointed

Posted 22-Mar-2015
We were not able to make this reservation since my wife incurred a concussion the previous week. Being aware of the no refund policy I asked if the amount we had paid could be credited to the cost of a future visit and applicable cost at that time. The staff member wouldn't even consider it or express any concern for the situation or compassion.

Room was on the smaller side but everything that really mattered was spot on. Comfortable bed, clean linens (that actually smelled freshly washed), great shower pressure. Was able to enjoy the outside hot tub while it snowed.

Nice hotel in a great location

Posted 13-Mar-2015
Cons: The beds were not the most comfortable in the world. They could all use new mattresses.
The Hotel Frisco is in a great location right in the middle of Main Street in Frisco. Within one block is a ski rental place, a dozen restaurants, and a liquor store. Frisco is small, cute, friendly, with a lot of historic buildings. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. They have comfortable lobby with a gas fireplace and an upstairs landing with couches, tables, and a big selection of board games. The outdoor hot tub was hot and relaxing. Our two room suite had a twin bed in each room and the couch made into a bed. So our family of five had three beds to choose from. We had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the mountains in the background.

Great place

I only stayed one night, but it was nice. Lots of places to eat close by. They even let me check in a couple hours early since my room was ready. I would stay here again.

Affordable comfort in downtown Frisco

Posted 10-Mar-2015
Pros: The location was great - easy walking distance to many restaurants, etc. The ambiance is lovely and unassuming.
Cons: Seems like they could use new mattresses and pillows.
Location: Frisco Nordic Center (2 miles), Backcountry Brewery and Bread+Salt were easy walking distance.
We were participating in the annual Romp to Stomp event and wanted to stay in town for the weekend. Friends we were traveling with had stayed at the hotel before and recommended it again. We had a lovely stay in an upgraded room with a patio off the back of the building. Check-in and check-out was easy with our pre-paid reservation. Quality products (Proterra and Bath & Body Works) were available throughout the hotel. We enjoyed the collection of books, movies and games in the library on the second floor and spent a relaxing evening after the snowshoeing event playing games by the fire. Our only complaint is that the beds were pretty hard.

Great Location, not luxury

Posted 08-Mar-2015
Its a clean room in a good location at a good price. No frills, but a good place to stay.
