Pleasantly surprised

Not a bad find. When trying to find the condo, don't use the address on your email confirmation. Just look for signage that says "condo registration". It's quite confusing to get checked in.

Not so Key-stone

The place was nice enough, just expensive for what you get. Lacked value.

Good value in Keystone

Posted 10-Mar-2014
Pros: Convenience, location
Cons: Be aware there is no maid service.
Location: Ski, eat, drink.
Did a quick family weekend in Keystone and found everything to our liking. Staff was helpful and friendly, the shuttle from the front door to the River Run base was great, pool for the kiddo, and having a restaurant and convenience store in the building was, well, convenient. We will definitely stay there again.

No front desk. Only bed was a lumpy Murphy bed.

Pros: inexpensive, clean. Cons: no clear instructions on how to check in (drive to condo office 0.5 mile away). Noisy HVAC. Only bed in the room was a lumpy creaky Murphy bed. Hot tub is indoors and was always full of kids. Would not recommend.

Great location, great price!

The building and room were just what we needed for a ski weekend. Only hitch was that the check-in location is down the highway from the actual building we were staying in. I would stay there again.

perfect location, comfy condo

We had a great time, enjoyed that the the lifts are in walking distance (there is also a shuttle), ski/board-rental downstairs, the fireplace and other amenities in the huge one-room-apartment. Would come back anytime. Very clean, felt right at home, also a plus: garage.

Gateway Lodge Ski Trip

Posted 26-Mar-2013 on Hotels.com
The place was quiet, clean, and nice. The photo on Hotels.com showed a full efficiency, with a breakfast bar. I was expecting at least some stove burners and a full size sink. Only had a microwave, toaster, and mini fridge. Hotels.com also said that breakfast was available, but unless they meant walking to a nearby restaurant, I couldn't find any food within the hotel. The annoying part about the hotel is that you check in at a different location, which was not specified. It took an hour to run around Keystone trying to figure out where to check in for this hotel. Everyone sent me to a different location. I would definitely stay here again, now that I know how to check in, and what the cooking options are.
