Super nice staff

The Frisco Inn's staff made us feel right at home. The free breakfast isn't your typical cold bagel or cereal, but a hot meal, prepared to order and served to you restaurant style. We had an incredible eggs Benedict and cappuccinos. Every single person on staff was really helpful and friendly, and made us feel more like friends staying than customers, which was a welcome change from the big-chain hotel feel. The location is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Excellent Inn within walking distance to downtown

Posted 17-Jan-2014
Pros: location, coziness, decorative appeal, happy hour, breakfast, hot tub
Cons: Operational sauna and ability to control room temperature. Our room was too warm and I could find no control to turn it down.
Location: Skiing in winter!!
We only had the opportunity to stay one night, but it was great. After skiing, we came to the Inn when happy hour started. We enjoyed some snacks, wine, hot tea, and the best chicken soup I have tasted in a long time. I could have been satisfied with the happy hour meal, but my nieces insisted on going out for dinner. The hot tub, although indoors,( I don't generally like indoor tubs) was well ventilated, and had great views to the outdoor patio, so it was above average. Unfortunately the sauna didn't seem to be working while we were there. Breakfast the next morning was fresh and very good. Both hot and cold breakfast are offered. The latte was a welcome treat.

Good option for a ski weekend.

Pros: Friendly, helpfull staff.
Cons: The free breakfast was a little on the cold side, but there was a microwave to use that remedied that situation.
Location: Easy to grab the free shuttle to Breckenridge.
