Nice Simple Hotel

Posted 26-May-2015
We checked into this hotel late at night while driving through Colorado. The beds were clean and comfortable and those are the two most important things to me! The complimentary breakfast was actually one of the better continental breakfasts I've had at hotels and had more than just an apple and granola bar. I would stay here again for sure. The front desk attendant was a young man who didn't have the most professional mannerisms but the condition of the room was way more important to us. Could not beat it for the price.

Komfortabeles, sauberes Hotel direkt am Highway.

Posted 26-May-2015

OK for family with lots of kids.

Posted 04-May-2015
Pros: Pool facilities small but nice. Kids loved it.
Cons: The man sitting in the office acted like I was imposing on him the 2 times I went to to front desk..once to check in, and once to rekey the room cards
Location: Great location right off the highway. Just 20 minutes outside Breckenrdige or Vail.
Booked this hotel because they had 3 queen beds in one room. We checked in at night w/4 kids. Got to our room, the room keys did not work Went back to front desk to have them rekey. Once in the room, called down to see what time pool closed. Trying the front desk and reservation buttons on their in-room phones only gets you a fast busy signal. So, I had to use my cell phone to call the hotel front desk directly. After calling them, they put me on hold, but not a real hold, as I could hear their conversation they were having until deciding a minute or two later to address my phone call. Breakfast is included in the price. Was your typical fare found at most hotel, except that all the bread was hard and old, from the bagels to the English muffins to even the white bread...all hard and old. They ran out of scrambled eggs, and no on replaced them the entire time we were there. Towards the end of our meal, 2 young male workers were complaining about their jobs, using profanity. I really appreciated that with my 4 kids! That was the icing on the cake...no more of this hotel for us in the future.

Affordable, good quality

Posted 04-May-2015
Cons: Game room needs better air circulation or some way to keep it cool.
Been here several times. Like it as an affordable good quality hotel. If you want the Ritz and crazy pampering, this isn't for you. But if you want a reasonable amount of comfort on a budget, this is perfect. Staff was helpful and friendly, rooms clean. No troubles at all. On our latest visit found they had added a game room near the lobby. It has a few arcades, a pool table, and a few video game systems. I think its a very nice touch, would have loved it as a kid and enjoyed it now. However, its kind of awkwardly located so I think a lot of people miss it, and it has a serious ventilation problem. All those machines make it uncomfortably hot. Was still a touch I appreciated.

Nice hotel for the price.

Posted 10-Apr-2015
Pros: Friendly staff and value.
Cons: Bigger hot tub.
Location: Within walking distance to Whole Foods, Ski Rental, very nice Mexican Restaurant, and bus stop.
Although this hotel is a bit worn, it was very clean and comfortable. It was a great for the price. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I brought my pillow and ended up using one that was there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was not the highest quality, but you could eat all you wanted and there was variety. Very close to a grocery, ski rental, and bus stop. Only issues - the hot tub was very small. You could fit maybe 4 adults and a few kids. They called our room a suite. It was not really a suite, it was a double queen with room for a pull out. Great value though.

Close to the winter fun!

Posted 05-Apr-2015
Cons: The breakfast buffet. Overall everything was very tasty but the scrambled eggs were less than appetizing. Bits of hard edges.
Location: Frisco and Dillon have much in the way of shopping and dinning. Keystone, Vail, Copper, A Basin, etc are all just a short drive away.
Our stay at the Baymont Inn in Frisco, Co was a positive one. The location was close to all the ski resorts with wonderful mountain views all around. The rooms were clean, well sized for our group, breakfast was alright. After a long day skiing the heated pool and hot tub was a welcome addition to our stay. Overall a good experience.

On a budget, just want to ski, this is the place

Posted 31-Mar-2015
In total spent 23 nights over the winter season at the Baymont. Room - Clean and comfortable although a little outdated Breakfast - High fat and carbs works for us. However, need to stop serving the sausages! Bacon much better Hotel in General - A little tired but perfectly fine because the rooms are clean It now has an onsite Vietnamese Restaurant, whilst not fine dining and a little rough around the edges, serves exceptionally good food we ate there 3 times cheaper than getting food from WholePaycheck which is down the road - great pizza option though. If you ski in designer gear with fur lined hoods, regularly do lunch with friends and or spend your days at the gym or spa this hotel is probably not for you. If you ski, hike, tour the world and like to save your money, for real adventures in life, the Baymont Hotel is perfect.

Last Resort Hotel

Posted 29-Mar-2015
Pros: The breakfast on a scale from 1-10, 10 being the greatest, I'd give it a 6.
Cons: The entire building needs to be remodeled.
Location: Unfortunately, there isn't much to do in Frisco. Go the extra 10 minutes and drive to Breckenridge.
Minutes after we entered our room, a stain on one of the queen bed sheets was spotted. If that wasn't bad enough a used towel in the bathroom hadn't picked up off the floor, and the toilet hadn't been cleaned. We called the front desk and they moved us to another room within the hour that was much cleaner. Most of the staff was friendly and apologetic, however, the building is in desperate need of serious renovating.
