I and my friend's family stayed here for 1 night and will definitely come back to stay here when we come to Sukhothai again. The location is great for Historic park. Although the parking area and entrance from street are not impressive, from the bridge (entering path) to the pool and our rooms which are at the pool side, the atmosphere is very good. We felt like being in a Thai traditional village. The rooms were spacious. The dining place is in excellent design. Breakfast was good. We had dinner outside at another nearby resort's restaurant owned by the same owner of Legendha hotel.
This is a very nice hotel with a decent restaurant and fantastic architecture. The location is not central to downtown which was fine for me because I was in town to see Sukhotai Park. My room was dark as night without the lights on because it had traditional Khmer windows that do not have glass but shutters -- and with 35C degree temperatures, I chose air conditioning over natural light. Most rooms have glass panes but ask if you care about this. The room was otherwise very comfortable with some nice touches.
A well-established hotel evidently use by locals for events and by tourists to see the ruins. Surrounded by rice fields that give it a rural feel. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms were big. The staff good but limited English. Good breakfast with adequate western and Asian choices.
We like to stay in bungalows so this was a good option; we choose a room with fan because we are ok with the heat, but they also have with AC; we enjoy sitting in the bungalow terrace; the WiFi was good although sometimes it got disconnected but it doesn't take long to get back. The public bus to Old Sukhothai only takes you 15 minutes walking. There's a mango tree on top of the bungalow and sometimes it catche us by surprise the mangos hitting the roof.
We booked this hotel but are not that satisfied. The lobby is the nicest place. NO window in the bedroom, loud airco , every morning loud noise of unknown equipement ... Breakfast is reasonable but the hotel costs too much for what you get.
A great stay at this hotel, it's a new building, very clean, helpful and friendly staff, a great location (a block from the bus to the Old Town), and a great price. I would stay here again if I came back and would definitely recomend it to my friends.
