Overall stay was decent. We chose this specific location for the pool and slide, to find out you can only use it for 30min. Could have booked at another hotel for half the price with just a pool. The breakfast was good, but the bar service is very poor. Sat there with friends and the staff couldn’t care less that we were there. The sign said the bar closes at 12am and the manager said as long as ppl are there they stay open, but the staff member closed and basically forced us out by 10:30pm. The rooms are very clean and bed are comfy, but the bathrooms are VERY small and inconvenient.

Check in was wonderful. The fully renovated rooms are very nice. I however did not enjoy the bathroom Reno, the light at the mirror is very dim making it difficult to apply make up. The pool facility was clean and the hot tub a great temperature but there were no towels, upon going to the front desk to request some they did not have any to supply and suggested us to use the towels in our room. Having to reserve the pool slide is very inconvenient, if a lifeguard is present anyone should be able to use the slide as it was in the past. The internet was very difficult and took a lengthy amount of time to log into and in the morning we no longer had connection nor could we log back in again . Upon check in when receiving our card/keys they added a paper in the envelope that said to use the regular internet enter your room # and your last name…. OR for better internet you can pay $4.95 per device. If I am paying over $200 for a room I expect functional wifi to be included. The service at the bar was interesting, we went with 2 other couples and the experience was less than favourable, when requesting a drink it was like we were disturbing the staff as she watched tv and having our table sprayed with cleaner while still sitting finishing our drink was unpleasant. My experience at this motel has always been a 5 star experience in the past, which was the reason I chose it this time.

Call me lazy, but I normally don't take the time to leave reviews when I travel, but I felt that this hotel deserved a response. My wife and I travelled to Sudbury for a funeral. We weren't exactly in a jovial mood, and were apprehensive to stay in a hotel that catered to families and children. We've stayed in similar hotels with unescorted kids running up and down the halls, filthy upholstery, and wet tiles from the pool crowd. This place was nothing like that. The hotel is probably the cleanest that we've ever stayed in. Although it's a few years old and shows a bit of wear, you can tell that the staff take the time to clean properly. Even the bathtub was scrubbed to a shine, with no water marks or soap scum. The suite itself was well laid out, small but efficient. A full sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, and small two burner ceramic stovetop. The appliances were all pristine. I always wear socks or slippers when I go to hotels, but the tiles and carpet were so clean that I threw caution to the wind and let my tootsies breathe. My wife and I are vegetarian and rarely are sated when it comes to included breakfasts. Not here. Many options for meat eaters and veggies alike. But by far, the best part of our experience (and the only reason I'm writing this review) was the front desk clerk that greeted us. Phillip was absolutely incredible. He was kind, genuine, honest, funny, and made us feel at ease. This hotel is lucky to have him on staff.

We enjoyed the wonderful staff the fun pool and the spacious well layed out and large rooms big screen tv was also nice. Only low water pressure from shower would be our conplaint but overall wonderful experience and we highly recommend this stay

The stay was ok, figured it would have been better for the price that you pay. The housekeeping was lacking - seemed lazy, examples: Only 2 tissues in the tissue box in the bathroom (no extra boxes anywhere in the room) - when housekeeping came, they didn't even replace the empty box on the counter, so I removed the empty box from the box cover and placed it on top of the box cover for the next day. The next day housekeeping replaced the box and left it on top of the box cover. Toilet paper was left low and when I finished it I replaced it with the spare under the sink - two days of housekeeping and the spare toilet paper was never replaced under the sink. Took towels away that were dirty and did NOT replace them with more towels. No conditioner in the dispenser through my entire stay. Not sure what House keeping even did in my room besides make my bed and take my towels. Like I said, with the amount of money this hotel charges per night, I would've expected better service. Front desk staff were very pleasant though.
