“Will defo go back”
An oasis of calm in the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing, The spa is well worth a visit. All in all the staff were very friendly and helpful and some of the politest hotel staff I have ever encountered.
“Long weekend city break not as good as expected”
Hotel was very nice although I would say the room was slightly on the small side. Room cleaning was lacking as empty water bottles were not removed and the desk area remained dusty throughout our stay. The bar was not a very sociable area although the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. The spa and gym facilities were very nice and relatively quiet except for one afternoon when two young children were playing noisily in the pool. The walk from the hotel to the centre was through quite a scruffy park area which was occupied by a camp of protesters and crossing the park in the evening/night time was not a comfortable experience.
“Stuttgart Great location”
The room was great and the hotel location great, in fact a little too close to train station, so that taxi ride is difficult to justify. The hotel is accross the street from a beautiful park and although on a busy street the room did not have street traffic noise. The hotel had a wonderful spa area with sauna, steam and pool. I would not hesitate to return.
“Quality and Comfort”
I knew about the hotel from living in Stuttgart, but had never been there for anything. Le Meridien are always quality hotels and this was no exception. The staff were very helpful, the rooms immaculate and I was surprised to find that I slept like a log despite the major road outside. We stayed in the middle of winter and the couple of hundred metres walk to the city was somewhat icy although the U-Bahn station is very close and the trams run every few minutes. We will probably stay again if we get as good a deal as we did this time.
“Good Hotel but Expensive for Basics”
Hotel was lovely and in a great location. Breakfast was expensive so went out for it. No tea making facilities, wished we taken the travel kettle! The restaurant was full, so we ate in the bar which was again quite pricey, although good quality. The car park wasn't free to residents and this was an extra expensive we hadn't planned for. The hotel did have very pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms were spacey and very clean. The spa was good although the pool was a tad cold. Be prepared to sauna and steam naked and see nude bodies walking around in this area, something us Brits aren't used to. We would recommend the hotel but would probably search for something that included free breakfast and car parking next time.
“Excellent hotel in Stuttgart!”
This was one of our best European hotel experiences...and we have been travelling throughout Europe for the past 2 years. The hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We were travelling with our 2 year old daughter and the hotel was very child-friendly. The staff was very nice to her and offered her a treat and bubbles. Those small gestures make all the difference, especially after she spent 2.5 hours in the car. When we arrived in our room, there was a nice baby bed with cute sheets and a children's toiletries bag - very nice touch. We loved the hotel pool (especially our daughter) and room service was perfect. The concierge helped us plan our time in and around Stuttgart and when we checked out, the hotel did not charge us for parking. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were extremely happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel!
“Pricey, but excellent”
The hotel is well out of my normal price-range, but you get what you pay for. The staff, rooms, and amenities were perfect. It's located a couple of blocks from the train station and that walk goes through a nice park. Air conditioning worked very well. Wireless is available at an astronomical rate. Parking is available at a rate. Very nice breakfast buffet is available for a very high rate if it did not come with your room.
“50th BD Celebration ... LeMeridien was the place to be.”
Hotel Staff services were exceptional. Rooms were large for European accommodations. Very conveniently located to town center. Medical emergency occured and the hotel staff responded quickly and professionally. Required to stay additional night over and above the planned trip, and hotel was very accommodating to our needs.
“Stay somewhere else”
Very disappointing. Worst Meridien I've ever stayed in. Only the jacuzzi is a highlight.
“We love this hotel”
Have stayed here before, this was the first time with a child - staff were very helpful and friendly for all the little extras we needed. Will definitely be coming back to Stuttgart, in part because of this hotel!
