“Little Gem Convenient to HBF and Stadtmitte”

Just a short walk to the main train station and the main city shopping district plus very near several museums, a lovely park, and the University of Stuttgart. It's obvious there has been a lot of renovation done to this property. Although our particular room was smallish, bathroom small, there are larger rooms available. We were there for only one night to celebrate the last weekend of the wine fest and didn't need a huge room. Furnishings are nice, light woods, bed is comfortable, there is a lighted minibar ecke (corner), small desk, reading lights mounted to the beds and flat screen -wall mounted TV. The toiletries offered are good quality. Reception personnel are so very friendly, one of the ladies at the desk even walked out to the street with us to show us where the attached parking garage is. Parking, btw, is billed separately but the hotel garage is very convenient and the cost is minimal. Internet is available, we didn't use it. Breakfast was included in our room rate. Breakfast room is beautiful, the breakfast laid out so nicely, everything is showcased professionally. Breakfast was wonderful with varied hot and cold offerings including nice desserts. Wait staff were friendly and very attentive, coffee refilled promptly, dishes cleared as you finished. We will definitely stay at the Kronen again next time we are in Stuttgart - and highly recommend this property for anyone who needs to be downtown. English spoken.
