“Good but expensive”
A very good hotel in a reasonable location (an easy walk from the rail station). The dining room was good while the bar (and food served there) also above merely acceptable. The only oddity was that one day our room was not cleaned. Read the door of the bar fridge to find out how to turn off the light though. I saw it on the way to check out. Front office staff were very helpful. I'd stay there again.
“We love this hotel”
We have stayed here for the past 3 years, and I think this place is just wonderful. The room is laid out perfectly - if you are not shy as the shower is kind of in the middle of the room. But other than that, the room is great to accomodate all your needs. Plenty of outlets and lights. The bed is super comfy and the room is exceptionally clean. It is close to the train station, which is another reason we stay here.
“The internet service is disappointing”
You need to buy the high speed wi-fi for the room, which is okay. But there is something wrong with the log-on system. I bought a three-hour ticket and used two hours in the evening. And then I logged out. The next day I tried to logged in again but it didn't work. I am sure it's not my problem because 1) when I logged out the system said I have successfully done so, and 2) the ticket is valid for two days. When I complained to the front desk they also said that it was not my problem. They did offer me low-speed internet on public area but it was too late. Also, when I checked in I asked about the internet, and the guy did not tell me that I need to buy tickets in the front desk. So I go up-stair and spent sometime to figure out that I have to go to front desk again. Overall it's a pleasant stay, but the internet is kind of inconvenient to say the least.
“Really Nice Stay”
Great location near train station, price varies greatly pending on time, modern furnishing, big rooms for Germany, overall a nice stay. Beds are still a little small and my flat screen was more like a 22 inch which was too small to see from the bed or the sitting couch.
“Lovely place”
The Arcotel Camino in Stuttgart was lovely. Outside was older stone work, but the inside was lucious. it was walking distance to the Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof and the central shopping district. The one downside, and this is a downside to most hotels in Europe - they need free Internet access available to customers. We have family with health conditions and need to stay in contact when we travel. It takes much of our time to find an Internet cafe or Starbucks in order to check on people. Other than that - I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
“Right on a noisy freeway, avoid if you want to sleep at night”
The problem with the hotel is that they safe a lot of money, placing it in a horrible location, where the hotel should not be build in the first place. After that, they try to sweeten the deal by giving you designer furniture ( I might say , the cheap designer furniture). When I come to the hotel , I expect a good night sleep - and it is hard to sleep when there are sport bikes at three in the morning revving up right under your windows. So if you intend to stay up all night , this is a place for you then.
“Will stay here again!!”
Conveniently located, just a five minute walk from the town centre, the hotel was beautifully appointed and appeared to be freshly renovated. We dined in the restaurant which was superb. Drinks in the bar were great too. The staff were friendly, spoke good English and appreciated our token words of German too!! Car parking at the front door also made this trip easy with our hire car. Access to other attractions such as the Mercedes and Porsche Museums were simple too. I would stay here again!!
“we'll be back”
great location; close to the train station and a very extensive pedestrian zone. lots of great shopping and other points of interest close by.
“An example to other Hotels with bigger names”
Everything about this hotel was perfect. It's perfect for businesspeople and perfect for tourists. It has some fun surprises like a red light in the bathroom to take a nice warm bath, a DVD player (Region 2), complimentary apples, and an excellent yet not too expensive breakfast. The staff were totally friendly and prompt to help. I really wonder, how come other hotel chains which charge twice as much don't have this kind of service, design, cleanliness and the will to make their customers happy. I have to add, the hotel was totally full, so that's also not an excuse for other hotels to be lazy, overcharge, or limit services.
“Hotel was great!!”
Front desk was so helpful and kind. Beautiful hotel in and out. Definatly would stay again.
