Nice suite, king bed comfortable. Pull out couch miserable. spotty internet. Full kitchen with stove, online says microwave, so that would have been nice to know. Hot tub hours until 10 but staff just decided to close it at 9:30 without warning or explanation.
We stayed at this ski resort in the off season and due to emptiness they gave us a pretty nice upgrade for free. Everything about the place was clean and the staff was friendly. The resort itself was a nice place to stay if you want to get away for a few days with food and activities nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend checking it out.
We had a great stay at Stratton mountain Vantage Point villas. It was hard to find (our GPS entry fault) and tough not to have cell signal in the mountain while lost. But when we got there, it was nice and clean. The person that checked us in was perfunctory and not very approachable but at the same time not rude. The checkout staff was very happy, helpful and appeared proud of where she worked. The condo was clean and everything worked very well but the bed squeaked at my every move.
The hotel was a short distance from most activities. The room was very accommodating after a very busy day. The evening meal was excellent and the bartender/owner was very entertaining. The morning breakfast was way beyond what I would have expected or have ever enjoyed as much.
We stayed here for 3 nights in February with our 3 adult children ages 23-25. The lodge exceeded our expectations. We skied one day at Bromley which is only 15 minutes away. Then we skied at Magic which is only walking distance to the lodge. As soon as we registered, Vince, the manager, was welcoming and accommodating. He even gave us his cell phone number in case we needed anything. Our room had 2 separate rooms (Family Suite). The rooms were basic in decor but very clean. The bar served all local wine and beer. It was so relaxing sitting next to the fireplace with a glass of wine in big comfortable leather sofas. The restaurant also was a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent. We went off site one night for dinner and was sorry we did. Vince also let us use his computer and printer to purchase lift tickets at a discount! We would definitely go back!

We arrived and were offered a bigger room with a better view just because it was avail. no cost. We brought own food and ate on back deck. In downstairs great room, big screen tv, played pool each eve.. microwave avail.,made fire in pit out back one eve, and made smores. Jacuzzi tub was great. An older building, somewhat rustic, very comfortable and homey. Continental breakfast was great, bagels, juices, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, etc. Staff was very helpful and friendly. My daughter, son-in-law and I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN if in the area. We had a great time.

Very casual, informal ambiance. Innkeeper (Kraig) is very pleasant, offered to make dinner reservations, recommended local places. Rooms are small, but comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. It was nice to have wi-fi available for free. The included breakfast was amazing. We had French toast with "grandma's apple butter", a baked egg that was wonderfully seasoned, bacon, a bowl of fresh fruit, juice and plenty of coffee - which was also very good. Everything made fresh by our host. A very enjoyable experience - highly recommended.
I've been to other B&Bs in Vermont (and beyond) and always thought they just "weren't my thing". Turns out, I've been going to the wrong places. No lace doilies, uncomfortable and musty antique sofas, or moth ball scented linens here! The architecture is unique, interesting, and keeps you looking at every angle (don't worry, there are convenient railings to hold onto so you don't fall while your eyes wander- which they will!) They truly are "green"- our room was heated with all passive solar and it was HOT. I appreciated the composting, local organic products, and fragrance free environment. And even though it felt NYC trendy, it was also cozy and comfortable like my hometown of Ithaca. There were books on shelves all over the house, board games, cards, throw blankets/pillows in common areas, and snacks in the kitchen.
We came for a sister weekend and hung out in the lounge drinking wine and playing cards, and felt very comfortable doing so. Other guests joined in at times. It was casual and relaxing. Met some nice people! I don't think this would be great for kids or people with difficulty navigating stairs. Don't come if you plan to fight with your partner because YES all the guests can hear you!!!

Stayed 2 nights to visit our friends in the area. We felt like favorite cousins of the innkeepers, Scott and Ariane. The Inn has incredible charm and easy going warmth. dinner was divine and breakfasts are easy and elegant and just the right amount of food. We had a lovely time with the staff and other guests. We will be returning.
