Cute room decor, fabulously accommodating staff, lovely in room breakfast, central location, complimentary parking and even a little spa. Really amazing value for the price! It was so nice we thought about extending our trip to stay an extra night.

Hotel D like Discovery - a new design hotel in the heart of Strasbourg that offers first class amenities combined with the …More
Lagrange city Strasbourg is a very convenient hotel. The kitchenette has everything you need to whip up your own meals if you like to buy local groceries and produces. It is just a few steps away from a shopping mall and supermarkets, and less than a mile away from the touristy district and la Petite France. Would definitely come back if I am in Strasbourg again.
"Good Hotel and close to the heart of old Stasbourg"
Excellent position just five minutes walk from the station and a few minutes walk into Petit France. Hotel has small rooms but with tea/coffee facilities in the room it can be home from home. Modern decor and very clean. Reception area funky and with more tea/coffee facilities 'gratuit' The location makes walking to all the main tourist sites easy to access with the cathedral no more than fifteen minutes stroll. The covered bridges are just around the corner. Great selection of restaurants and salon de the but some can get fully booked. Even so there are loads of other choices. Our stay included a national holiday November 1st which meant that most museums etc were closed. Note that the first Sunday of each month museums are free and that is great as long as it is not a public holiday.
We visited The Palais Rohan which contains a number of museums. The gem though was the Alsace Museum which we thought was delightful.
The Horloge in the Cathedral was only 2 euros but we waited about an hour for the demonstration which we found an anti climax.
Transport very effective. We brought a trio 24 ticket which covers up to three people for 24 hrs on the trams etc. The cost was just over 6 euros and a bargain.
We took the shuttle train from the airport to Strasbourg station. Quoted as up to four trains an hour but only one an hour when we returned to airport on a Sunday - check the timetable.
A very worthwhile cultural visit with loads of history and amazing old Germanic buildings etc
The staff was very nice and welcoming and offered a lot useful information. The room was comfortable with free water and coffee/tea. I didn't like the setting of the shower since the water could come out and the bathroom floor got wet
We stayed for 2 nights to see the Christmas markets. Prime location opposite the station and wSlking distance to all the markets. They even stored our bags for us on the last day so we could just pick them up on the way to the station later. Large family room (we have 2 small children) with plenty of space for the kids to play. Only marked the room down a point as the carpet was quite stained in places but I could see other rooms have been refurbished and look really nice. Even though the carpet was marked the room felt clean and the small fridge/minibar came in useful to store baby bottles etc. there was a bit of street noise but that's what you expect for such z central location. Couldn't rate the breakfast highly enough. Good choice and plenty of it and it's included in the room. The lounge area in the foyer and toilets came in very useful to freshen up before getting the train too. Would definately stay again.
