“Nice hotel to stay at for conventions at the Stockholm International Fairs”

I picked this hotel because it is literally right next door to the Stockholm International Fairs Convention Center. The Alvsjo commuter rail station (part of the Pendeltag line) is within a short walking distance away and only two stops away from the Stockholm Central Station, which takes you to anywhere around Stockholm. Central Station connects with the Arlanda Express train to Arlanda Airport. As for the hotel - well, it was very clean, and the beds and pillows were soft, and the service was very efficient. There was a funky glass shower which had minimal borders with the rest of the bathroom floor, so that water did tend to leak out all over. The rooms have very dark curtains, so if you want to sleep in and catch up from jet lag, you can eliminate almost all the light in the room, which is nice. The complimentary breakfast is excellent, lots of eggs, bacon, sausage, meatballs, cheese, preserved Swedish stuff (fish, etc.), cereal, juice, etc. And oh, lots of crusty Swedish bread. Yep, those Swedes sure like their bread thick and crusty. The front desk staff was OK. Some were friendly, some not so friendly. Since most of them were young Swedish women, they were at least quite pleasant to look at, whatever their demeanor. The hotel has a small workout area, but no pool. There is internet access, and two free computers near the front desk. However, to print out stuff, e.g., your online check-in boarding pass, you have to use a pay computer. Bummer.

“great value for money”

Had a great stay in this hotel. Its only a couple of stops from the centre of town, and its much more affordable than hotels in the city centre. The room was comfortable and well done, and the breakfast was spectacular. The gym was a bit disappointing, but I went for a run near the hotel and it was fine. Great value for money considering how expensive Stockholm can be,

“Right next to exhibitions halls”

Stayed here for two nights before and after an exhibition, staff friendly and helpful and we benefitted form excelllent rates as the exhibition halls were quiet. Hotel has a couple of bikes you can borrow altthough the surrounding area is not great, would be worth taking the bikes on the train into Stocholm. Breakfast was excellent and evening meal in the restaurant was good and not too expensive for Sweden. I would stay again if the rate was right.

“Astonishing breakfasts”

The enormous breakfast spread of quality items in a cheery room was a great way to start each day. Rica Talk is right next to the Stockholsmassen, the Stockholm RInternational Fairs and Congress Center.

“Stunning Stockholm”

The hotel is on the outskirts near the 'International Fair' area. It is close to the rail network however I had a car so I can't comment on the rail journey. The car parking is secure but comparitively expensive on top of the room cost. The rooms are fairly spacious and light. and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptionally good and plenty of it but a little busy as the hotel was fairly full. Overall very good value for money and I would definitely stay there again.

“Good value”

While this new hotel is not in a particularly urban or exciting part of Stockholm, it has great access to the train that runs into the central city. The travel time is about 10 minutes. It would be nice to have things to walk to from the hotel, such as sights, restaurants, nightlife, etc, but for the price, it is hard to beat this hotel in Stockholm. I stayed for a three night stay on two separate occasions right after the hotel opened. They were obviously still working out some kinks in the hotel as it had only been operational for a couple of weeks. The workout facility is pretty weak. There are only a few pieces of equipment. So don't plan on using it for a decent workout. On the plus side, the breakfast that's included with your room rate is amazing. It's not like the mediocre contintental breakfasts you receive in the States. It is a full breakfast buffet with more food than you can possibily imagine eating in one sitting. That alone is worth at least $10 per person. The hotel is very modern (think IKEA) and clean. The staff is extremely friendly. The location is convenient enough to Stockholm central. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Great new hotel”

My husband and I stayed at Rica Talk for two nights while in Stockholm. The modern Scandinavian designed room was great and so was the service we received. Also, the included breakfast is the most impressive I've had. FYI: it is a 10 min train ride into the city, but totally worth it!

“Stockholm's finest hotel”

It is a very warm and appealing hotel to stay in on holiday. The breakfast is a feast. Staff are all friendly. Transport connection to Central Stockholm is five to ten minutes walking distance from the hotel. I had a brilliant time.
