“Hidden gem”

Small, unobtrusive, hotel one block off Sveavagen. Easy access to T-bana; walking distance to Sergels Torg. We were three people sharing a room and were very comfortable. No problem with adding an extra bed. We had great weather while in Stockholm and enjoyed breakfast on the open-air patio every morning, but eating in the conservatory would also be nice if the weather wasn't perfect. Charming and helpful staff. Would definitely go back.

“Good, ,reasonably priced hotel for tourists”

The Rex Hotel was a good deal in an expensive city. For a reasonable rate in July, we got a spacious room, wifi, and a good breakfast. Also, the metro stop is just around the corner and the neighborhood (Normalm) is safe and has good restaurants for dine in or take away. I would definitely stay here again.

Rex Hotel is well located in a quiet neighbourhood of Normalm, just one block from the nearest metro station. We found the hotel staff able to speak English perfectly and were very helpful, courteous and polite. Breakfast was simple and typically continental with breads, cereals, meats, cheese and jam. There are restaurants and cafes nearby, but there are better restaurants on offer a little further away - the hotel staff were happy to help make reservations if necessary. The hotel has a relaxed feel and is aimed at the leisure traveller. There was a PC with internet access available in the lobby and wifi in the public areas at no additional costs. If we ever returned to Stockholm, we would look to stay here again!

Clean, modern design and helpful service. All anyone can ask for in a 3-star hotel in a good neighborhood not too close yet not too far from tourist-filled Gamla Stan.

“Good value hotel”

Stayed in single room for 5 nights. Location very good, two minute walk from tube station and within walking distance to main shopping areas and you can walk to old town from here too easily. Room was small but had everything in it and was very clean. Breakfast was basic but quite adequate. Reception staff polite and helpful. Free internet in reception but only one computer so might have to wait for 5 mins or so. Overall good value in a very expensive city.

“Our hotel for any stay in Stockholm”

This hotel was extremely affordable and more than we could have imagined in all aspects of hospitality - Staff was extremely helpful and courteous - Breakfast was warm with excellent coffee and deliciously european - Room was charming with perfect blend of old and new decor We have family that lives in Finland, so we were looking for an affordable place to stay in Stockholm. We found it.

“Friendly staff, small but clean & efficient rooms.”

All staff I encountered were very friendly & proficient, but rooms are very small, shower / bathroom very compact, just enough for the job!! Clear, tidy, good location for buses & Stockholm transit system. 15 min walk into main shopping. 35 mins walk to Gamla Stan (old city - must see) & 45 min walk to Wasa museum (also must see, if in Stockholm). Good value overall, for the city.
