“Highly Delighted”

We just spent one night in the hotel and were given an upgrade. The room was the best we have ever stayed in overlooking the main street which was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights.

the hotel is very nice a bit of walk to the main high street but you can get on a bus or tube train. otherwise its near of the main attraction such as the harour where you can get boat trips and pick up the tourist bus.

“Nice comfy hotel, great location, friendly staff”

My family stayed in this beautiful old hotel in end of april for 4 nights booked via Expedia.com on quite reasonable price. We were given two large twin rooms . The rooms were very comfortable,/ new furniture/ and quiet enough- on the 4th and 5 floor, looking out to a smaller street and backyard. The rooms were equipped with a fridge and an electric kettle- with complimentary coffee and tee. Spotless clean- both rooms and baths -shower rooms with marble floor. Good, abundant breakfast - wide choice of cold and hot meals, fruits,cereal. Great location in luxurios Ostermalm area, It is also only about a 15-20 minute walk to old town - Gamla Stan, Vasa and Skanska museums, boats piers and other major attractions in this wonderful city. Central bus & Rail-station, Arlanda Expres and several department stores are in walking distance also. The all staff on the front desk were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Cristal Plaza Stockholm is nice hotel, completely deserve to be 4 star

“Suited my needs ideally”

The Crystal Plaza Hotel proved a great base for my visit. Though not next to a T-Bana (subway) station, the central location turned out to be in walking distance of all main sites, being 8' walk from the Hotorget market and no more than 20' from the Central Station. I was not sight-seeing, but museums and the historic area of the Gamla Stan are within a near radius of the hotel. An attraction easily overlooked is the enchanting Hummlegarden, directly opposite the hotel. Breakfast was of the standard Nordic variety and had the usual wide range. The staff in the hotel were always helpful and welcoming, and my room was diligently maintained. It was very small indeed, but this was advertized in the booking and reflected in the price. I was well satisfied with the hotel and its location.

“Good value, great location”

Although my single room was the size of a shoebox, it was a modern, clean and warm shoebox. Flat screen tv. Great shower. Helpful staff. Large breakfast selection. And the location was really central - we walked everywhere as we explored the city. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was good, the room was large and everywhere was really clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great and it is really easy to walk to all the main attractions in Stockholm.

“An enjoyable city break”

This hotel is conveniently located in the city area. All amenities were close by, it is approx 25 mins walk from the central bus and rail station and 15mins walk to the shops. The room we had was on the front of the hotel and was a little noisy in the early morning rush hour. The breakfast was good, offering, yoghurt, fruit, cereals, cold meats, eggs, cheese a choice of cooked items and waffles, plus coffee and juice. If you enjoy a cup of tea you may be dissapointed as English breakfast tea does not exist (as we know it) in Sweden I recommend that you take your own for your room. We did not use the bar or other facilities. On the negative side it could perhaps do with a refurbishment for example the sink had a crack in it and could have done with a repaint in places. If you go out to eat, it can be quite expensive, we found the city to be safe and non threatening, but take the usual security precautions. Most people speak English so conversing is not a problem and if you arrive at Arlanda airport, take the bus it is cheap, quick and convenient. Overall a enjoyable city break, we would stay at this hotel again.

“Good all-rounder”

A single room is very much that - and if I was to stay again I'd pay the extra and get a double, even as lone traveller. Other than that - very clean, well looked after, and wifi free of charge in all rooms a bonus. An excellent spread for breakfast as well. Located nice and central, with a t-bana station about 2 minutes walk away, and in a rather nice building itself.

“Older but perfectly good.”

Room was small (single occupant) but not oppressively so. Everything was clean, tidy and functioning. Breakfast good/typical buffet. It's very well placed for the centre, and if I'd not been on business then would be ideal for sight seeing etc. I'd previously stayed near Odenplan, and that's quite a bit further out. Kungsgaten is just a coupe of minutes walk away, with restaurants and shops.
