“Great Place to stay!”

Wonderful Hotel. Clean & comfortable. Incredible breakfast included. Good bed. Very helpful front desk service. Nice,quiet and safe area. Close to subway and buses. Nils was a particularly helpful at the front desk with figuring out how to get tickets to the Arlanda Airport Express Train etc.

Excellent hotel in the elite district of Stockholm, 15 min walk from the city center, 2 min walk from the Karlaplan T-banna subway station. Complimentary wi-fi.

Breakfast and supper buffet was included in the price, which makes this centrally-located hotel a very good deal.

“A definite "safe" pick”

Our last minute decision to go to Stockholm for New Years (from Helsinki) did not leave us with many hotel options, particularly for 2 adults and 2 small kids but Karlaplan came through and did not disappoint. Nothing fancy and no bar to relax but it was fine for us and very fairly priced all things considered.

“Totally Reasonable in Cost and Services”

The single was quite small but totally immaculate. The bathroom was adequate. The price was reasonable. The hotel is in a pleasant neighborhhod, two subway stops from the center of town. The staff was most accommodating and sweet. Rate included an adequate buffet breakfast and not-really-a dinner-but-I-suppose-one-could-make-one-out-of-it. Not 4 star for sure -- but not bad, either.

“Clean and comfortable”

For a short stay, the Hotel Karlaplan serves its purpose. It is in the nicest area of Stockholm and convenient to all major sights. It is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination. The inclusive breakfast was very good, however, with a full spread of options, including traditional Swedish food. I stayed in an Economy Single room (one with a window). For my two-night stay, it was fine, albeit small! The room was clean and the bathroom was very large, considering the small size of the room. There was an American outlet in the bathroom, which I appreciated. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers who will not be spending much time in their hotel room, and mainly need a comfortable place in a nice neighborhood to return to at night. It is certainly not a "destination" hotel, but a good value for the money.

“Very good value for money”

Perfect, however it is good to know that 3 levels of the hotel are say below the surface. You can save some money, but room will not have any window. [so see the order of room with a window] Nice food, they serve even light dinner, included in the hotel price. 150m from the underground, very good value for money.
