It was easy to get to, and no real problems booking in,but wasn't impressed couldn't get a vat receipt, the restaurant next door was excellent, fantastic staff and brilliant food.

Nice hotel with decent facilities. Air con unit was faulty but dealt with efficiently and offered complimentary drink/food. Rachael on reception is a credit to holiday inn and was amazing (even went to effort of printing some word searches for the kids).

Holiday Inn Express Stirling was perfect! Location was great; easy in and out and onto main roads. The staff was AMAZING; so helpful and courteous! Would definitely recommend them to anyone traveling to Stirling!

This Hotel is ideal for those coming to Stirling and wishing to see Stirling Castle and The Wallace Monument,both within a short distance of the hotel . The hotel its self is kept very clean , the staff are very friendly. And you get very reasonable rates for staying there . It’s well worth a visit.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The location is far from the city center. But because of the quality and cleanliness, is worthy.

The front front desk receptionist was rude . I booked through third party and he wouldn’t give me the correct phone number to cancel my reservation and get a reimbursement through Expedia . For a hotel I never stayed at. I would not like to stay there ever.

Friendly, helpful staff. Easy access. Lighting was a little lacking in the room. Otherwise this was an easy stay in a quiet, secure, clean and comfortable hotel.

Great family break
Perfect for what we needed! Beds were a bit uncomfy but not too horrendous and we all got a good night's sleep! Lovely staff - especially Kate in the morning who serenaded another guest with Happy Birthday and was so cheerful and helpful to everyone. Would definitely recommend and we will stay again. (but maybe 2 rooms next time!)

Holiday Inn Stirling
Clean and quiet, well equipped room - good standard. Breakfast facility and food very good. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again in future.

Laundry truck arrived outside my window at 6-15 am with lots of metal cages being rumbled over the path. Room was clean but cold - heating on the maximum setting for hours to get it warm. Far too noisy to keep the unit on during the night.

Bad communication costing me a lot after the fact
Everything about the room was great but then I return home and get 2 large amount parking tickets because not one person told me I needed to pay for parking in a lot specifically for the hotel.

My son and I stayed 1night at the holiday Inn Express on our way to an open day at Sterling University the next day We arrived later than expected due to delays on the motorway but were welcomed by staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. We didn't make use of any of the facilities. Beds were very comfortable and we had an excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was self service but a good choice of cold and hot food. We would definitely stay here if we came his way again.

The room etc was excellent but the stay was let down by the breakfast. There was no scrambled egg no jam or marmalade and only a very small amount of orange juice. This was over 30 minutes before the last time.

Located in a business park just outside Stirling but not far from a shopping centre and opposite a Pub, it is a good, quiet, clean and safe place to stay. It is close to tourist spots and historic sites.

It is always nice to be greeted in a friendly way when you check in. Unfortunately this was not the case here. There is a £5 charge for parking but the pub opposite appears to be free. A £25 charge to have a dog in your room for 1 night is also ridiculous.
