“not impressed what so ever”

I reckon the least a hotel could do when you turn up expecting a room and they do not have one for you is to put on a taxi to the other hotel, it may put said hotel above others in the way of service and a bit of class.

“Gammel ærverdighet som sårt trenger oppussing”

Hotel Victoria er et gammelt, ærverdig hotell, som oser av svunnen storhet, MEN det er minst 15 år på overtid mht oppussing. På grunn av den svært lave hotelldekningen i Stavanger i midtukedagene, kan de allikevel ta seg godt betalt for et middels produkt.

“Eine alte Norwegerstadt im Wandel! Hier wird man sehr Altes und sehr Modernes an eine Ort entdecken”

Da es sich um ein Historische Gebäude handelt, sollte man es etwas mehr pflegen. Der Zustand liegt auch für Norwegische Verhältnise leider nicht mehr im 4 Sternebereich. Da es relativ Zentral am Hafen von Stavanger liegt, kann man aber von dort aus die Stadt gut zu Fuß besichtigen. Stavanger selber ist eine pulsierende tolle Stadt mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten!

Area recommendations
Ein muss sind die Fjord-Fahrten! So ein Landschafstbild wird man nicht oft im Leben sehen!

Eine sehr uhriges und tolles Kneipenrestaurant ist das Phealius Fogg (In 80 Tagen um die Welt)! 5min zu Fuss vom Viktoria-Hotel!
