“Great hotel”

It's not in the middle of everything, but it's only about 5 minutes walk away. The staff were good, the room was very good, the breakfast was good. No complaints at all.

“Stavangernarian!”

Medium-sizzed but quiet hotel not far from the town centre (about a 10 minute walk), tourist information office, and bus station (closer than the town centre and tourist info office). The bus to Sandnes (no.4)passes outside the hotel (on the opposite side of the road). Helpful staff. A decent full-breakfast.

“comfortable single rooms”

The single room was a reasonable size and the bed extremely comfortable. The standard of cleanliness was also good.No mini bar in the room and a lack of tea and coffee facilities were the only downside

“Not Impressed”

The bed and room were clean and OK, but the sheet barely fit the bed. There was a fire alarm on the second morning, and instead of instrucing all to leave the hotel, the tetralingual message was to 'take no action' while the hotel investigated. Eventually, this was identified as a false alarm, but this course of action does ot seem to be in the best safety interests of the hotel guests. The breakfast was OK but not stunning, and the clearing staff tried to take my and others' plates before they were finished eating, without even asking if we were finished. I would only stay there again if it was the last place in town.
