“Kurztrip Norwegen”

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und genügt in jedem Fall für Kurzreisen (verlängertes Wochenende).

“Originell, individuell, gute Lage”

Das Hotel ist originell und die Zimmer sind schlicht, aber schön und individuell eingerichtet. Die Fenster sind schalldicht. Mein Zimmer war ruhig, obwohl in der Umgebung und in der Bar und im Hotel des Restaurants Betrieb herrschte. Das Hotel liegt quasi zwischen einer Einkaufsstraße und gegenüber vom Bahnhof Sandnes. Somit hat es eine optimale Verkehrsanbindung. Wer mit einem Auto anreist, muss wissen, dass es keine hoteleigenen Parkplätzen gib und die Parkplätze in der Nähe wochentags kostenpflichtig sind. Dem Hotel ist ein Restaurant angeschlossen und eine Bäckerei. Das Restaurant war eher enttäuschend, der Service nichts Besonderes. Das Frühstücksbuffet im Hotel ist okay, aber nicht herausragend. Für einen Aufenthalt in Sandnes ist das Gamlawaerket sicher eine zentral gelegene, gute Option.

Area recommendations
Das Gebiet um das Hotel herum hat eine lange Einkaufsstraße, die Langgata. Gegenüber ist der Hafen, wo man abends noch gemütlich sitzen kann. Dort gibt es auch Supermärkte und weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Restaurants gibt es sowohl am Hafen als auch in der Langgata. Stavanger ist etwa eine halbe Autostunde entfernt, der Flughafen 20 Minuten, die Strände von Jaeren etwa 30-40 Minuten.
Getting there
Kein Problem ab Stavanger, da das Hotel in Nähe des Bahnhofs und Busbahnhofs liegt. Auch mit dem Auto gut zu finden, allerdings muss man beachten, dass das Hotel keine eigenen Parkplätze hat und man auf Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe zurückgreifen muss. Diese sind zahlreich vorhanden, aber wochentags kostenpflichtig.
Getting around
In Sandnes problemlos zu Fuß möglich.
Shopping
Die Langgata hinter dem Hotel lädt zum Bummeln ein. Um den Hafen herum gibt es weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, auch Supermärkte.
Dining
Dem Hotel ist ein Restaurant angeschlossen, das aber meines Erachtens nichts Besonderes war. Auch der Service war nicht überragend. Es empfiehlt sich, für abends zu reservieren, wenn man dort essen möchte.

“käme wieder”

ein stilvolles indiv. hotel in ehemaliger töpferei in sandnes fuzo.freundliches personal rund um die uhr .leckeres frühstück mit frisch gebackenen broten,köstliche speisen mittags und abends (sonntags keine abendkarte /nebensaison im september?).individuell gestaltete gepflegte zimmer!
