“friendly”

First hotel Alstor is a clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet location, it is a bit dated but is being updated at the moment. Food is excellent and the staff are friendly and polite. It is a 30-40 minute walk to Stavanger and its a walk i would recommend with its fantastic scenery and lakes throughout. I would certainly go back again.

“Friendly Hotel in Stavanger”

The Alstor is in urgent need of investment to refurbish the bedrooms but if you can live with a hotel with a slightly worn look you will find the staff always friendly and helpful, which actually means that along with its convenient location you will leave happy and relaxed.

“Good deal quality/price in Norway”

Good hotel with very pleasant employees (especially main registry and breakfast services). Perfect breakfast ! This hotel need probably to be renoved a little bit but good ration quality/price in Norway, usually so dead-expensive for nothing. Last point, maybe need to increase the quality of the wifi signals. (too low in sleeping rooms) but a very pleasant employee proposes me to use public computer in main hall.

Area recommendations
The downtown is very small but cute when it's sunny (unfortunately, it's always raining)

“First Hotel Alstor in Stavanger - 40min Fußweg in die Stadt”

Fr-So: Pech gehabt.

When to go
What to pack
Must see
