Beautiful hotel. Breakfast service a food could be better. You need some art in the hotel. Also, a second char and cafe table in the room would be nice.

Beautiful historic hotel with modern amenities. Great little bar area. Nice sitting area out front with lots of rocking chairs for a quiet, peaceful read. I wish there was a refrigerator in the room, which was the only drawback, since I’m a diabetic and need to keep insulin cold. Other than that, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

LOVE this hotel. I always stop here on my road trips home to see my family. So cozy and QUIET! Love how easy it is to walk around Staunton and the hotel's historic charm.

Absolutely loved our stay! They don’t charge $100 as the website indicates only $15 so that was a surprise!

Nice hotel right in the middle of it all! We really enjoyed the hotel, and it felt like you were somewhere special in the common areas. The beds were super comfortable. The view of the city was spectacular! Everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The breakfast, which you pay extra for, is exceptional! It was a breakfast buffet with all of the breakfast items. It’s definitely worth the stay if you are staying in Staunton!

Great location close to everything you would want to do in walking distance or a short drive. Great architecture, well maintained inside, rooms are very clean. Bar and restaurant are good but not open enough days. Entrance and grounds could be a little neater but not horrible, just not as polished as the inside. Not a better place to stay in Staunton and a good value.

The staff was very helpful. If you like a good shower then this is the hotel for you..they had amazing water pressure!

Lovely historical hotel which has been updated. The staff were very friendly, breakfast buffet had a good selection, and the bar was great for a cocktail before going to the theatre next door. There are loads of restaurants, bars, and cafes within a short walk from the hotel

A blast from the past with lots of stately charm in the lobby and dining room. We had a pleasant spacious room without frills but with all the necessities: king-sized bed, spacious bathroom, fridge, wifi, TV. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

We enjoyed the convenience of the hotel as the perfect home base for a night away. We enjoyed dinner at Zynodoa, a show at the Shakespeare Center, and shopping the next morning. Everything is walkable and food options abound.

Great location, friendly staff. Would have rated higher if not for the extremely loud music/bass thumping from 9pm-midnight. I called down to the front desk at 10pm to inquire about why it was so loud and was told there was a party in one of the ballrooms and that quiet hours would start at 11pm. We still heard the bass well past 11 despite having our sound machine turned up as high as it goes. We understand and expect “normal” hotel sounds like the comings and goings of others, but the sound of a party from our room on the 3rd floor, especially when traveling with small children, was really disappointing and exhausting.
