“It's where I want it to be...”
Easy access to the Merritt Parkway. However, the bathtub needed scrubbing on the bottom with the nonslip strips and we only had one bar of soap for the sink and the tub. We had the room next to the hallway where other bathrooms were being renovated...not exactly attractive. We love the location though and were only there to sleep, get clean and leave the next morning. The desk clerk was most helpful throughout our stay.
“Looking for 'Pet Friendly'? This is your hotel!!!”
Having never traveled with our 7 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, I was a little reluctant. Prior to this, I probably would have avoided a hotel that allowed pets. I had the BEST experience. The staff could not have been nicer. We went where we were allowed with our dog (he never made a peep) and we throroughly enjoyed our weekend. We assumed traveling with our dog would mean staying in our room to eat, etc. Not at all. We brought his bed with us to the lounge and had our meals delivered and enjoyed the company of the friendly bartenders and other guests. Between the price we paid and the friendliness of the staff, it made for a wonderful weekend. Thank you Expedia and Four Points Sheraton Norwalk.
“Not impressed”
The room was sufficient for a business trip. However, the water pressure was poor and barely existent without fiddling with it. The fitness center was very very small, not big enough for more than 3 people.
“Decent place.”
It was OK. Nothing particularly outstanding. Nothing particularly bad. Room was very comfortable and well laid out.
“Good deal in Norwalk”
The appearance of the hotel driving in was nothing special for a Sheraton 4 Points, very nondescript. However upon arriving to check in I was impressed with the interior and the friendliness of the staff. My room was very tastefully decorated and well laid out. Nice comfortable bed with nice linens and plenty of pillows, plus plenty of electrical outlets for this digital age, and easy to get to.
“Nice Staff - Bad rooms”
The rooms are old - the bathroom was sad. Not worth the price - only stayed because of the location. Is not a 3 star room
“Needs an Update”
This hotel is dated and old-looking. And it's relatively isolated.
“Not the quality expected from Sheraton”
This must be one of the older properties and not at all well maintained. Beds were poorly made with creases under the main sheet which were an irritant through the night. Carpets were old and did not look clean. Breakfast was expensive and unremarkable. Staff was good and very helpful. We would not return to this property.
“updates end at the lobby. bad experience.”
Hotel had a decent exterior and recently updated lobby. Unfortunately the updates ended there. The rooms were old, shabby and dated. There was not much insulation in the walls because we could hear EVERYTHING going on around us. We did not get any sleep because our room was positioned in front of an elevator where one rowdy guest after another piled in and out all night. When it was finally quiet enough to get some rest (5am) the housekeepers started their routine and again, we could hear everything. If the rooms had better insulation from sound, none of this would have been a problem. Will never return.
“Norwalk”
Thank you.
