“Jersey, a magnificent island !”

When we return to Jersey, there will be NO other option!! All personnel amazing The food is wonderful The rooms are cozy, A truly 5 star hotel.

Area recommendations

Walk the city and have a taxi drive you around the small island. Get oysters and Monk fish They told us about a great restaurant we will go next time: "Oyster Box"

“Customer Service At It's Best”

If you want to experience the highest quality, relaxed, professional, customer service, Longueville Manor has it. It's an oasis of calm, where nothing is too much trouble. Also, the restaurant is high class and the wine list comprehensive.

Area recommendations

Lunchtime oysters at Suma's or crab at Crab Shack and great oysters/turbot at Oyster Box in the evening (book).

“Super hotel and attentive staff but food expensive”

Our room was up graded when we arrived and had spacious room with superb bathroom. Staff were always very attentive and friendly. Lovely grounds and swimming pool. As we were late arriving, we decided to eat in the restaurant. We thought £50 for two courses was very expensive, even for a five star hotel. A starter of three asparagus in puff pastry with a little lobster sauce was a bit mean. two small pieces of sea bass for main course and then had to pay extra for cheeses. We only thought the stilton was any good. Refused a sweet, even though hungry as they were charging £12.50! We were looking forward to a jersey cream tea but not at £22.50 each!! Breakfasts, I have to say, were excellent with delicious choice of fresh fruit, yogurts and jams and honey, with a great choice of cooked food. For the rest of our stay we ate elsewhere at less than half the price and had very good food.

Must see

Tapestry museum at the Maritime museum in St Helier harbour is very interesting. Embroidered by 200 ladies in Jersey depicting the German Occupation. Lovely film of the ladies talking about their war experiences and cheap to get in. Most poinient to go after visiting the Underground war museum.

Dining

Eve meal at The Moorings, Gorey harbour. Early eve menu at The Bulwark Lunch at Bastille Brasserie in St Helier. All the above are reasonably priced for set menus, especially The Moorings. It seems to be very popular with the locals but the lady of the house made us feel very welcome. Best to book.

“Perfect for a relaxing break with excellent food and service.”

The hotel is perfect for a break if you want complete luxury. Food is wonderful, with service to match. The hotel staff are very accomodating, where nothing is too much trouble. All you need is the weather!

“the best”

Smashing place a mile or so from St Helier. All the staff were excellent. The room was great. Couldn't really fault the place really. For my pocket it was dear but it justified it for 3 days. Just the right level of formality - not stuffy at all. Car rental recommended for all Jersey.

“100% empfehlenswert”

Top-Adresse, ruhig gelegen mit kleinem Park, historisches Ambiente, TOP-Service, bequeme und geräumige Zimmer (Achtung: keine Klimaanlage). Sehr gutes Frühstück, eins der besten Restaurants auf der Insel. Innenstadt in 20 min zu Fuss zu erreichen, Hotel organisiert auch Limo-Service.

“superbe sejour”

Tre bel hotel, service hors classe et excellent restaurant( avec beaucoup de personnel francais) seule reserve papier peint legerement abimé et petite tache sur fauteuil dans notre chambre.
