I love the Hollander Hotel! The awesome art deco decor and incredibly friendly staff made our stay fabulous. The room was clean and comfortable, with great AC, and I love the fact that there was a lounge at the end of the hall on our floor. I don't know if all three floors are the same, but I thought that was great. The decor is so interesting and makes it stand out as a unique, wonderful, and whimsical place to stay in the midst of boring, cookie cutter hotels like the Marriott down the street. For the price, you cannot beat this hotel. I will recommend it to everyone I know who is thinking of spending time in St. Pete. Fantastic! And the staff are incredibly friendly and sweet. Doesn't get any better.

Hollander Located right near the heart of scenic downtown St Petersburg the Hotel is just a short distance from St …More
Desirable location with comfortable rooms in the heart of anything you care to do while visiting St. Petersburg. Every hotel employee was super helpful and eager to meet every need. Check in took no time at all and both Brittany and Danielle were wonderful. Valet parking was really on the ball and if you should prefer, you can park across the street in the public garage instead. There is a view of the bay and the bustling street and shops, restaurants, galleries, farmers market, festivals and more are all within very easy walking distance. Do not miss the Dali museum because it is spectacular in every way. Absolutely wonderful tapas bar named Ceviche to enjoy on the southeast end of the same block as the Hampton Inn. The Saturday morning farmers market from 10 to 2 is the best free entertainment you could imagine. The food! The fresh produce! The arts, crafts, live jazz, and local information! This Hampton Inn is perfect with a yummy free breakfast to boot. The hotel pool was kept chilled so a swim is refreshing instead of like stepping into someone else's bathwater. Love-love-loved this stay.
A nice surprise to see how big the room was and over looking the water side too. The swimming pool was very clean and not at all busy, towels, rest room and a bar too!
The hotel has a nice bar, a shop for essentials and also a Starbucks if you don't want to travel too far for a coffee.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive place to stay in downtown St. Pete. The outside is very plain, but don't let that fool you. Inside is very beautiful, clean and quaint. It definitely has the feel of a turn of the century home turned bed and breakfast. We had a late check in (midnight), & the staff was very accommodating, emailing me instructions, & leaving a key in the night lock box. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable, with nice antique touches. The next morning, the gentleman at the desk was very kind and conversational and made us feel right at home. I will stay here every time I'm in town!
Very friendly staff. Beautiful historic building that has always been a hotel. You feel like you are stepping back in time. Very tall narrow doors and ceilings in room, seashell sinks, soft bed and cheapest rate for any hotel in this area near the museums and restaurants. Great place to stay if you don't want to drive back home. Five Guys Burgers and Fries open late just half a block from hotel. Nice area too. I need to add that for my very low 2-digit rate I got breakfast the next morning. A hot omelette, a huge sausage patty, juices, milk, coffee, muffins, breads, etc... all included. Parking is $4 with no in/out next door or you can purchase $6 parking pass from hotel that gives you unlimited entry/exit privileges. Met very nice people next morning from all over: Austin, Texas; Savannah, Georgia; Belfast, Northern Ireland who all were enjoying their stay. I would stay again.
