“outstanding hotel really close to St Issac's”
This hotel is near several must see places in St Petersburg. Staff at the hotel were courteous at all times and really helpful. We ate in the hotel one evening. The food was delicious but a bit expensive. Breakfast was amazing with a wide choice for all tastes. I would be happy to go back again.
“Will Return”
Everything anout this hotel was top quality. The staff were wonderful. The room outstanding. Breakfast was great, with lots of choice. Location ideal. We stayed here for 3 days with our 2 year old. He had a very comfortable cot and the hotel gave him a cuddley toy ( a baltic rat!) Internet was available which was very handy to keep in touch with family and business in the UK. Cash despenser as also available which made withdrawing cash very safe. The only downsiide was the cost of drinks and food at the bar. They were similar to other hotels of this quality but somethng to be watched. However, 24 hour convenience stores are very close by. In all, a wonderful experience and highly recommended.
“Long weekend in St.Pete”
Just back from St.Petersburg, a place I know well having studied there in the mid-90's. We stayed at the Renaissance Saint Petersburg Hotel (part of the Mariott chain). Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the hotel was very helpful. They arranged an early check-in for us which was very important as we arrived early in the morning (around 8am) and we didn't want to be hanging around in the lobby with our bags for several hours. Location is good too, just next to St.Isaac's cathedral and about 10 mins walk from Palace Square and Nevsky Prospect.
“Very Impressed”
The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble from the Receptionists to the Concierge and restaurant team. The room was a lovely size and was well serviced. I would certainly recommend it!
“Excellent value for money”
Great location, great price, excellent & friendly service. I've stayed in countless Russian hotels & rarely had such a combination. I would caution about using the external services recommended by the hotel such as taxis, guides & tours without researching the alternatives as they tend to be on the steep side, e.g. taxi to Moscow train station - Hotel taxi 1800rbls, external taxi firm 800rbls, gypsy cab 300rbls (assumes you're confident to use & negotiate).
“Excellent service in a perfect location”
We got a comfortable room on the quiet side of the hotel that allows to rest from the bustle of the city centre. The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to the main touristic attractions and the restaurants, meaning you can walk and don't have to take transportation all the time. The service is discreet but efficient and breakfast is a nice american buffet, with some local added touches. We will definitely go back.
“Outstandingly good.”
This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. My room was comfortable in all respects. Although in the centre of the city, there was no noise at all from the street. TV and internet provision were satisfactory. Above all, the restaurant was exceptionally good, with a chef who takes real care in the preparation of all dishes.
“great location”
excellent value for room rate and location. suggest you go across the square to the Astoria or Angelterre Hotels for breakfast.
