“Great place to stay.”

Excellent value for money. Clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful and coped well with English. Good breakfast. Big bonus to be so near the sights, especially the Hermitage. I was on my own but felt perfectly safe walking everywhere I wanted to go. I would stay there again but would go slightly later in the year as the hovercraft to Peterhof does not run until after 9th May.

Area recommendations
Thoroughly recommend the Solli restaurant , up to the top of the street and just round the corner on the left bend. The pies are out of this world!

“Great Hotel-- Even better price”

This hotel is in a fabulous location, great price, free internet, helpful staff, free breakfast, comfortable rooms... it was better than i even expected. I would definitely recommend this to anyone not wanting to spend a fortune!

“Great Location. Good Value For Money”

Fantastic location. Very central. All major sites are within short walking distance. Lots of restaurants/cafes just around the corner. No air conditioning in rooms, so can be a bit stuffy during summer. Staff are reasonably helpful although they speak only (below) average English. Rooms are small but adequate. Very clean. Huge construction project across the courtyard so very noisy from 7:30am til late afternoon. You may wish to check with hotel before you book! Otherwise good value for money. I will stay here again (providing the construction site's gone!).

“zentral und günstig aber klein”

Positiv: sehr zentrale Lage günstiger Preis sauber gute Betten Frühstück war in Ordnung WLan ohne Gebühr negativ: sehr kleines Zimmer (aber zum schlafen OK) Die Heizung konnte man nicht regulieren. (daher im Winter sehr warm) Dünne Zimmertüren. (Man hörte fast jeden Schritt ausserhalb des Zimmers) Empfehlenswertes Hotel für eine Kurzurlaub, da zentrale Lage und günstiger Peis.

“Gute Zimmer in Bestlage. Die Zu- und Aufgänge sind aber gewöhnungsbedürftig”

Sehr gute Lage. 2 bis 15 min zufuss zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Sehr zentral gelegen aber nicht laut. Der Innenhof, von wo aus der Hoteleingang zu errechen ist, ist halt in den russischen traditionen (nicht) gepflegt und daher etwas schmutzig. Der Aufgang zu den Zimmern, wo wir waren ist nicht renoviert. Vielleicht waren die gerade beim Renovieren, so sah es zumindest aus. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, jeden Tag wurde geputzt, wenn auch nicht auf Grund und Boden. Wir waren überrascht, ein Zimmer mit eigener Sauna und Jacuzzi zu bekommen, was den Aufenthalt sehr verangenehmt hatte. Das Frühstück war nicht üppig, aber grosszügig und vollkommen ausreichend. Würstchen, verschiedene Kaschas, Brot, Aufschnitt, Käse, Tee, Kaffee, Saft, Obst, etc. war alles da. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich, wenn nicht in allen Fragen des Tourismus selbst kompetent. Wir wurden aber stets an die richtige Adresse verwiesen. Im Grossen und Ganzen war der 5-Nächte-Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel ein Top und empfehlenswert. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hann sich sehen lassen, wenn auch nicht mit den Europäischen Massstäben direkt vergleichbar. Man ist eben in Russland und muss sich an das Eine oder Andere anpassen.

Hotel liegt sehr zentral, ist ein einfaches, aber sauberes Hotel.

Wer ein günstiges, zental gelegenes Hotel sucht und mit einfachen Ansprüchen zufrieden ist, ist hier gut aufgehoben.
