The hotel is fairly modern, light, big clean rooms. The heating & aircon are rather noisy. Staff are helpful and English is spoken. 10 mins walk from bus or metro. No disabled access to the restaurant where breakfast is served. Breakfast has quite a bit of choice. Restaurant is cold at times and the food is not good value and there is little or no veg but reasonable restaurants are within a 10 min walk. We would stay at the hotel again but not eat meals other than breakfast there. It is a business hotel rather than a family one.

“Good hotel”

Nashotel is a pleasant modern hotel on Vassilyevsky Island, a short walk from the Metro station, one stop from Nevsky Prospect. It is quiet and peaceful with little street traffic. Staff are very courteous and extremely helpful. Having had a long flight with missed connections it was very nice to be offered a welcome champagne on arrival. The room was clean and well equipped with free wireless internet - always a good sign. Breakfast included in the price was excellent - a good buffet with omelettes cooked to order. I thought it was excellent value for money and would happily stay there again.

“A Wonderful Experience”

There is nothing to fault about this new modern hotel. The room was of a very high standard and was very clean for the eight days. The breakfast is excellent and offers variety. The staff really cannot do enough for you. The hotel is away from the centre of St.Petersburg in a quiet location on Vasilievsky Island but as other reviewers have said this is a blessing. There is a metro station ten minutes walk away. I arrived and was immediately offered a complementary drink from the bar. My room was on the rear of the hotel and did overlook the car park but there is so much to see in St Petersburg you will only be in it to sleep.

- Nashotel was unbelievably clean and new, staff are kind and helpful. - The room is very spacious, so is the bathroom. - Yes, there is a short walk from the tube station to the hotel but is not that far and curiously the distance shortened each time we went out. :) That's how irrelevant it is! - Nice breakfast, good variety (bread, pancakes, eggs, bacon, tea/coffee/juice, cheese, salami, cereal, yogurt, ...) - Only downside: it was extremely hot during our stay (around 35 Celsius) but you cannot adjust the A/C from your room. Apparently it is done by the reception? Considering that this heatwave is not usual, most people won't face this problem.

“Paradise in St Petersburg”

After staying in a dull, expensive hotel in Moscow, we felt like we had landed in Paradise! The decor has a bright, tropical flavor to it. The rooms were spacious and cheerful. The bathrooms were modern with all the amenities. The breakfast included was a terrific buffet with lots of choices both hot and cold. We would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in St.Petersburg.
