“Good location-poor service”

Very good location of this hotel is one and only issue to recommend this hotel to travellers. Quite bad service on reception and very poor service in dining areas. Rooms are quite good, but relatively small. I'd better stay in Astoria Hotel which is same building as Angleterre but has really different client oriented services.

“Great location”

While the rooms are small, you can't beat the location - walking distance to pretty much everything. Being originally from St. Pete I can appreciate the improvements to the hotel service and quality of food that have been made over the years. Good place to stay, a bit pricey on food and services but otherwise thumbs up.
