“A very nice hotel. A one to recommend”
The hotel is not located in the exact center of St. Petersburg but about 10 minute long walk from Mariinski Theater. Fortunately, there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to Sadova Metro Station throughout the day. The staff are nice and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfasts are ok but a bit dull after a while. Still, I my general opinion of this hotel is a very positive one and I recommend it.
“very nice 3* hotel !”

“Well worth the price”
I defenitely would recomend this hotel for anyone looking not to spend much and is able to stay at hotel that deliver "normal" and "basic" amenities = he doesn't need carlton- ritz or similar rooms .... you get what you paid for, even more. I have in russia to other hotels [moscow] and this one is defenitivly the only one i really would recommend. Just make sure u don't get a room at a high floor since there is no elevator. As well, we didnt use the metro much, its a 20 min walk to get to the nearest station [the hotel has a shuttle we never used] but we walked: to get to the Hermitage or to Nevsky prospekt is a 30 min walk. We did it even when it was -10 degrees outside and still enjoyed it .... The Synagogue as well is less then 15 min walking away, and very easy to find.
“Nice for a 3 start hotel”
The hotel is fine for a 3 stars hotel, the staff is friendly but they dont speak much english, that makes comunication very hard. The room was a bit small but very nice, the bathroom was very good and clean all the time. In general my experience in this hotel was good, i recommed it.
“Excellent value”
This is one of the best value hotels I have stayed in. Very clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast with lots of choice and a good restaurant for the evening. The location is somewhat out of the way (although this was a bonus for me as it gave more opportunity to see the city), but the walk into the centre of St Petersburg is very pleasant and the free minibus service to the nearest metro station efficient. A great choice.
“very impress for Russia”
I am a Nurse, my Husband a Public speaker together we have a combined salary of 150,000 a year to give an idea, that is because sometimes the people who live reviews might have different opinion in what is good for them. we love to travel and we read reviews from other people and we research the area before staying at the property, we stayed for 5 nights then we went to Moscow but overall the Hotel room is small compare to USA hotels. but was all we needed, two twin beds, very clean room and bathroom, the room was above the restaurant no smoke odor at all. close to the bus stop, take bus 22 two blocks from hotel and you will be in the heart of the action in less than 10 Min. supermarket right across from bus stop, friendly staff, breakfast until 11Am. breakfast more like brunch, plenty of choices, food was excellent. hotel minibus pick you up at the train station, hotel located in one of the oldest historic areas for a couple of dollars an hour you can take a laptop to your room and access the internet. we use it about 4 times and work very good in the room. true is not the best hotel but we strongly agree was very very nice and very friendly. TV only Russian channel but we never watch TV. we travel to see places not to watch TV. for a hotel and price in St. Petersburg I give them a 4 of of 5 stars counting that the hotel price through Expedia. I do not know if we ever will go back to Russia but if we go back one day, yes we will stay again
“Next time I will stay at Nevsky prospekt”
Hotel is very nice, but location is terrible. It was in center, close to Mariisky theatre. But awful place around hotel. We have to take a taxi when we back to hotel at the night, cause location did not look like secure. Breakfast is good. Staff is ok, but one man who made me registration, was not friendly. Next time I will stay at Nevsky prospekt.
“Excellent value - stongly recommend”
Second time here. Will be back a year from now. You just can't get better value for your money. Free huge breakfast is great. Coffee is awesome.
“Excellent stay---excellent value”
I found this hotel to be an excellent value for the money and would definitely stay here again in the future. Reception staff was friendly and accomodating and put up with my attempt at Russian. I was on vacation so not in a hurry. The 20 minute walk downtown was pleasant, interesting and good exercise. The hotel made all of my taxi arrangements to and from the airport at a fair rate. I find a couple of deserts at the restaurant that I liked but they ran out and did not replace them, but all in all the food was very good and reasonably priced. This hotel is far enough off the "tourist" area that makes it feel more of a Russian experience. I would stay here again.
“Good value but a little off the beaten track”
We walk a tremendous lot to explore cities so the distance away from the centre of the city did not worry us. I think the hotel could provide two additional midday services to get from the Sadovaya metro square in case you require it. It would also be helpful if they provided a translation of their hotel facilities in the room so that you know what is available. The restaurant in the hotel was a useful stop gap if a little expensive in the evenings. The breakfasts were plentiful. We would recommend the hotel as long as you take the distance into account. Good value for money.
