“Fabulous five days”
Everything spot on, about 20 of us there for for between 3 and 7 nights for a wedding and all had a wonderful time.
“Surprisingly Pleasant”
This was a great stay. For the price and value - this couldn't be beat. The staff was super friendly - everyone - and the location was very good. The view was good, the rooms are modern and clean. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I will be back!
“Better than expected”
The price was great and the photos online looked good, so I booked it. When I drove up, I wasn't very impressed with the outside. I was worried that there was a reason it was fairly cheap compared to other locations, but once I went inside I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was great, the room very comfortable and nice. Well worth what I paid for it. I have paid much more to stay at much worse hotels. Don't let what it looks like on the outside fool you, it is a nice place to stay.
“Treasure Bay”
The hotel accomodation was fabulous. However, the air conditioner would not go on any setting other than auto. It had high and low settings but air would not come on with either of those selections. There was an excessive amount of noise in the hallway and/or adjacent rooms throughout the first night. If I had been able to turn the air on I feel I could have muffled some of that noise. There were several huge white stains on the underside of the bedspread. The bathroom floor needed to be more than mopped. The tiles were such that they required professional intervention. These few complaints were very unfortunate. Otherwise, my experience at Treasure Bay was wonderful. I did not complain to the staff regarding any of these issues as the hotel was filled to capacity.
“quiet and convenient to beach and restaurants”
For what i needed, it satisfied all my needs. Close to beach area, quiet location, and close to restaurants. I would definately go back.
“LOVED IT”
Haydee made our experience wonderful. We are already planning a trip back. Wouldn't stay anywhere else-from the beach being close & the bay view from the balcony with the dolphins swimming past.
“A Real Treasure in Treasure Island Fl..”
Can't understand that other reviewers gave this hotel only 2 out of 5 rating.......must be used to 5 star treatment !. Great location ..we had a balcony with our large comfortable room looking across the beach and sea due West for glorious sunsets. Hotel could do with a bar, but only short walk to find food and drinks.Staff helpful and polite. On a busy road, but not a problem as double glazing most efficient.Local buses stop close by.cheap and fairly frequent. Seeing dolphins swimming in the Bay in November whilst walking on the beach in the sunshine can't be bad in my book !
“Great location and service, but clean the hall carpets”
The service of the front desk staff is wonderful. They were always attentive to our needs and helpful. The location couldn't be better. We just walked across the street to the beach. There's a Publix grocery store a little down the road (with a parking garage). The room is very modern, although the hotel is older and has been remodeled. I liked that we had a refrigerator with a separate freezer, a separate sink outside the bathroom, a microwave, and a nice granite counter top for all our food items. The big downside is the hallway carpet. It's old and very stained. It really should be replaced. It just makes you wonder why they aren't taking care of it and if they're letting other things go.
“Hidden Gem”
This hotel is right in the center of Treasure Island. Private balconies face either the bay or beach (right across from the public beach, so there are no buildings blocking the view which is very rare). There's a patio area on the second floor which is great for watching the sunset. Reasonably priced, clean and modern. I intend to stay next time I'm down this way.
“straight on the beach”
The hotel is a motel style, 3 floors high with rooms to the front overlooking the pool and the gulf boulevard and car park (sun late morning to sun set) and rooms to rear overlooking the canal and small marina (sun rise and dolphin in canal). Some parts of the hotel are a little tired but not dirty, but the staff more than make up for this with great friendly service. Free coffee all day and sun terrace any time, great if you don't want to walk across the road to the beach.Gym and laundry available. Free parking where all other near beach are parking metered. Restraunts available close by, a short walk, or quick drive, choice of burgers, mexican, american fair, waffles, upmarket dining. Short walk to supermarket and pharmacy for everything. Plenty of drinking places. For cheaper dining and shopping take the gulf boulevard south and follow for I275 continue to 18th avenue your near to all diners and shops. Be careful when you see 13th Ave as the next turn left is the 18th. This is my second stay same time as last year will go back, great people at hotel! Great beach, buy a $10 folding beach chair, as the cabanas are twice as much per day.
