“Good quality accomodations at a reasonable price”

Room and ammenities were good quality. Free continental breakfast every day. Rooms were clean and well maintained. We would have liked a flat screen tv, but it wasn't a must. Great service.

“Very Disappointed”

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The hotel is located in a bad section of town. I witnessed an employee going through the trash as he was throwing it in the dumpster while smoking a cigarette. The girl working the front desk was not friendly. Our room was not ready at 4:30pm when we were checking in because she said it wasn't cleaned yet so she had to give us a different room. The room was dirty and I had to clean the shower before I could use it. I have stayed at Hampton Inn many times before up and down the east coast and I have to say this was the worst visit. I will now second guess staying at a Hampton Inn again.

“Not Bad, Comfortable and in the Middle of the St. Petersburg”

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The bed and room were comfortable and the breakfast was good (not Hampton Inn-GREAT, but good). The only problem--we found 2 roaches (on different nights) crawling around in the bathroom when we got up to use the bathroom and turned the lights on. Knowing that Florida is notorious for roaches, and having seen a dead roach in my hotel room at the Embassy Suites in Tampa, I didn't feel like the 2 roaches at this hotel should make me give it a super low rating, the way I perhaps would of a city not in Florida, (although I despise roaches). We informed the hotel staff of the issue, and they got right on it. The breakfast was average for the Hampton Inn. They had their signature waffles, which were great. But they only had yogurt one morning and didn't have potatoes at all. They also didn't carry the hot tea brands, I'm accustomed to at Hampton Inns, in the Mid-Atlantic area. The neighborhood is so, so. But not a bad deal for the city side of St. Petersburg. I would return to this hotel again, but would certainly call before hand and ask the front desk to put me in a room that had recently been exterminated.

“Will use again on trips to the Trop.”

Nice room and staff. When I need a room close to the Trop will use the Hampton Inn again.

“Very close to Tropicana Stadium”

Hotel was okay. Pool was great. Close to stadium. Breakfast was fine. Staff helpful.

“Happy with my stay”

Overall, the hotel was very good. The only complaints I have are that the air conditioner was a bit noisy and the room was very humid, and there didnt seem to be enough employees working the free breakfast buffet in the morning. The hotel was fully booked, so I assume they just werent ready for that many people. The bed was wonderful, very comfortable. The room was clean. I stayed for 2 nights and never had a problem. The pool was nice also. Will probably stay there again when I come back to St Petersburg in a couple months.

Close to everything we wanted to do. Great pool party day of arrival. Good diner right across the street.

“Very Disappointed”

To start, we were very excited to book this room because we needed a "two room suite" to travel with our young infant. When we got into our room we realized they had assigned us the wrong room. I called expedia to verify, and my husband checked with the front desk. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude, stating: "This was the room you were assigned." When expedia called to confirm with the hotel that we had in fact booked their "One bedroom King suite", the hotel refused to honor it because our discounted rate was "too discounted." The "Luxurious" king size bed was hard and you could feel the springs. The Shower had no water pressure, and the "hot breakfast" was pre-frozen egg patties and bagels. I will never stay here again.

“St Pete Vacation”

We had a great time in St Pete! The hotel was a great experience! It was conveniently located to all the attractions. It was very clean and the front desk staff was very hospitable. The free buffet was pretty decent and help to cut our food budget. My daughter practically lived in their fantastic pool! We definitely will stay at Hampton Inn in St Pete again!
