“Very, very impressed!”

This hotel is undergoing a huge renovation of the rooms and replacing all the furniture. We were the first guest in one of the newly renovated rooms and the staff spared no effort in rapidly solving a few minor problems. They were extremely helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

The whole beach area is great.

Rates are super in October and November and the weather is very pleasant.

“Worst Hotel Ever”

The hotel was under construction the entire time we were there. I have been to this hotel 2 previous time without a problem. This time was the exact opposite. Like I said construction going on everyday. Our electric went out as soon as we got to our room the first day. We did not have any towels in our room and then they only gave us 2 towels after I had to go to the front desk to ask. The supposedly heated pool was about 50 degrees. How is someone suppose to swim in that? The Gulf of Mexico was 72 degrees. There was no mention of construction prior to our trip. I believe I should have been compensated in some form for the poor conditions and services. I will not ever go back because they do not care about their customer, even the loyal returning customers.

Area recommendations

John's Pass is awesome. Of course Clearwater Beach is amazing.
