This small hotel is a gem! We spent 10 days at The Marquis in a large well appointed room with a spectacular view of the bay at Ance Marcel from our terrace. The staff was unfailingly professional and friendly. The service was first rate. If you are looking for a first rate hotel that is a bit off the beaten track, this is the place for you.
We were greet, registered and personally escorted to our room which was cute, quaint and spotlessly clean. Slightly out-dated decor but the personalized attention you will receive from the staff and the gorgeous beach cause any tiny imperfections to pale in comparison. A lovely restaurant and fun bar are on the premises as well.

This was our seecond stay at the Coral Beach Club and it will not be our last. We would be happy to live there year round. The whole property is beautiful. Since there are only 21 units, they can give you personal service other resorts don't. The only complaint we would have is that the beach had fairly bad seaweed isues - both on the sand and in the water - most of our 2 weeks there. However, I don't know if that is really the CBC's issue, as it was bad up and down the entire stretch of the beach.
The grand case beach club is the only place to stay on the island. Besides the ocean view from your balcony or lenai, the French continental breakfast, the private beach, the amenities and free wi fi are tip notch. It's located very close to the high end restaurants, and the staff make the experience even better. No complaints, no regrets.

We Stayed at Palm Court for another week and enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time. We checked out the day the hurricane hit the island. Our plane flight was cancelled and we were force to stay at another hotel by the airport, and we wished we would have been able to go back to Palm Court. The second hotel was terrible in comparison. Palm Court is clean, with a friendly staff and a nice pool. The rooms are a good size with large bathrooms. We never had to ask for anything from the staff because it was all good, the ice maker was even repaired and was full of ice every time we needed it.

Overall this was a very satisfying stay. The staff was friendly and the facilities were great. One or two small service glitches (50 minutes to wait for ice) didn't detract from a very nice experience. Our junior suite was virtually on the beach and was perfect for us. Room was large, spacious, bright and clean. The little kitchenette was a great part of the room and allowed us to have breakfast, snacks, drinks etc. in our room or the very nice patio.
You feal you landed in France the minute you get there. The beach is great. The pool at the villas are fun after a day at the beach. The staff are all very nice.
The hotel is one end of the beach , so it is quieter and the people from the cruise ships land at another part of the beach.
Other secluded beaches are nearby. Pimel island is a lot of fun.
The Coco beach restaurant needs improvements. We tried other restaurant on Orient beach which were better, one called Bikini.
My husband and I just returned from a four-night stay at Azure in SXM. This property is absolutely beautiful. You walk out of your room and within 10 steps your feet are on the sand. The view of the Caribbean is stunning - gorgeous turquoise water, sailboats in the distance, absolute peace! The room itself was perfect...comfy king-sized bed, mini fridge, microwave, dining table and chairs, A/C, satellite tv (which we watched very little as the view was tv enough!). The courtyard area was lovely - flowering trees and plants and really cool turtles. The owner (Mike) was very knowledgeable about the island and gave us a list of things to do and places to eat. Very helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Azure and are planning a return trip soon. HIGHLY recommended!
"Wonderful hotel close to the beach and fine dining"
This was a vacation for our 25th wedding anniversary - my wife and I wanted a very special time together and our expectations were far exceeded. The Alamanda was wonderful. The check in went very smooth. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and delicious. The staff was excellent. The room was very good - comfortable bed, clean, very nice size. The balcony was furnished and an excellent place to relax.
Fine dining was a 2 minute walk away. We ate at 2 of the restaurants - Cote Plages and Le P'tit Bistro. The food was excellent at both. The foie gras at Le P'tit Bistro was incredibly delicious!
The Orient Beach was also a minute walk away. The sand, surf, and water were the most beautiful we have ever seen. The time we spent on the beach together (about 6 hours each day) was awesome! The beach front had restaurants that served lunch and drinks all day. We ate lunch at Andy and Cheryl's. It was very good.
My wife got a pina colada at Kontiki - it was superb!
The atmosphere at the Orient Beach was completely relaxed and chill. People were cool and friendly. Totally hassle free!
The prices for beer, drinks, and food at the Orient Beach restaurants and bars were reasonable.
The vacation was like having the best of France and the Caribbean in one place - a paradise of sensual pleasures and an excellent way for a couple to celebrate their marriage!
