There are many wonderful hotels. But this is a reasonable and comfortable hotel in St. Martin.

“Very happy. phillip was the best”

I loved the place. It's very clean, convenient to everything, food was fine, the grounds are beautiful and well kept, nice beach and pools and the personnel are very nice.

“our annual visit to St Martin”

We enjoyed having the kitchenette,however it was very sparsely equipped. This is a typical 3 star European designed hotel/resort. Rental car is recommended. This was our second stay,we probably will return and upgrade, at the reduced rates.It not worth the regular rate.

“Not Recommended - stary somewhere else for fun!”

The hotel is hard to reach on the northwest side of the lagoon. Furnishings are dated - 1970's style. This hotel is rated as a 2-star, and that is being generous. The hotel is immediately surrounded by privite condos so you have to drive 10 minutes in any direction to get to a resturant except for the one in the hotel, which has limited hours. The one time we ate at the hotel, the food was good, not great. Also WIFI is only available in the lobby and it only worked one time for us. I'm might have given a higher review if I wanted an all-inclusive trip to sit around to drinkj, eat and smoke.

“a little paradise”

We go back every year, same Room.It is a beautiful spot and close to Marigot Great for family also Can't wait for next year.

Close to the best restaurants on the French side. Stop at Seraphine bakery for the best desert and espresso with a fabulous water wiew Go back to the Hotel with a french baguette and cheese the hotel has a kitchenette,do not forget the wine!!!!

“HOTEL VETUSTE PAS D ANIMATION PRESENCE CAFARDS”

Hôtel proposant une cuisine sur le balcon mais inutilisable. Il n'y a pas de produit pour faire la vaisselle pas de torchon. Le four et le réfrigérateur sont sales, présence de cafards dans la cuisine. Dans la chambre , odeurs persistantes de remontées d'égouts, ménage sommaire (toiles d'araignées, poussière, cheveux...). La chambre est grande, la literie relativement confortable. Les draps et serviettes sont tâchés. Le petit déjeuner (correct) sous forme de buffet est proposé à l'extérieur parmi oiseaux,chats et chiens. Animations annoncées lors du cocktail de la direction mais inexistantes. Entretien de l'hôtel laisse à désirer tant au niveau des chambres que des parties communes. Personne ne se baigne dans le lagon. Il faut absolument un véhicule pour aller à la plage. Les piscines sont froides mais propres et accessibles à n'importe quelle heure du jour ou de la nuit (pour la tranquillité cela peut être gênant.) Certains transats devraient être changés. Le matin à 7h30 passage du tracteur sur la plage pour lisser le sable donc pas besoin de réveil matin. Le personnel est agréable et accueillant mais prévoir de porter soi-même ses valises à l'arrivée comme au départ. En résumé la classification de l'hôtel ne correspond pas à un 4 étoiles.

Area recommendations

A part la plage de Maho que les avions survolent, il n'y a rien à voir dans cette île. Il faut peut-être faire de la plongée ? Le shopping concerne surtout les bijoux, les cigarettes et l'alcool. Il y a beaucoup de boutiques à louer.

Getting around

un véhicule est indispensable. Les routes sont mauvaises. Beaucoup de nids de poule et de bumper.

Les cigarettes, l'alcool et des bijouteries à perte de vue. Il est préférable d'acheter en ville plutôt qu'à l'aéroport avant le retour.

Le restaurant l'Estaminet à grand case est excellent. Très Bonne cuisine originale et fine et très bon accueil.

Outdoors or beach

36 ou 37 plages annoncées. Les plages quand elles sont belles, il y a beaucoup de cailloux, roches ou algues ou déchets. Il y a beaucoup de courant. Très déçue entre ce qui est annoncé et ce qui existe réellement. Prévoir un budget pour la location des transats et parasols.

“Le Flamboyant Resort, Nettle Bay, St. Martin”

Hotel is netjes, zeer ruime kamer en balkon met keuken en goed werkende koelkast en airco. Lekker ruim bed. Hotel ligt niet aan de zee, maar aan een binnenwater, wat ook mooi is met ligbedden en palmbomen. Hotel heeft twee zwembaden. Goed dineren en lekkere cocktails. Ontbijt is prima. Op loopafstand kleine supermarkt (wel erg duur). Pal aan de overkant een restaurant waar je erg lekker kunt eten. Auto huren is verstandig om naar Marigot of Phillipsburg te gaan. Service van het hotel is erg goed en de mensen zijn uitermate vriendelijk.
