“An okay place to stay”
Housekeeping personnel - Joanna was very nice and effficient.Overall the room was pleasant. Would have prefered to get the bed size that was booked. Otherwise, for business purpose the hotel is suitable and the staff friendly.
“Lovely Place”
Nicely located, quiet and very private place. Lot of flowers and beach with palms. Rooms with the sky decks are fantastic. Three restaurants with well covered dinner menu. Food prices are higher but what you can expect on the island. I am very pleased with the staying, hotel and people.
“Fabulous”
If you are looking for paradise, this comes pretty close. The first thing one notices are views, that are beyond spectacular from anywhere on the property. The rooms/villas are wonderful, with true mediteranean charm and secluded balconies with views that extend from Castries to Martinique. They are delightfully spread over the steep hillside that tumbles down to the sea, and are accessed by a continuous shuttle servicer, that carries you up and down the roller-coaster network of landscaped streets that criss-cross the commubity, winding through beautiful tropical gardens. The resort location, between Castries and Rodney Bay, couldn't be better.... near the activities and outside nightlife, but still amazingly secluded, with a truly Mediteranean atmosphere. The restaurants are amonst the best on the island and their is also a large array of evening activities to keep you entertained. The watersports are on site and are completely comprehensive and well organized, and to be honest, there is almost too much to do, unless you you stay for a month! The staff were always charming and helpful, and the organized trips were excellent, encompassing just about anything you chose to do in St Lucia. All in all, this resort is hard to beat, no matter what you are looking for in a Caribean vacation.
“Windjammer”
I had a wonderful time on my stay. The hotel was very nice and the hotel staff did a very good job attending to and helping guests. I was disappointed in the lack of authentic Caribbean food available at the hotel and going off the hotel grounds on the trips often evolves going to tourist stops designed to get you to buy items and tip various people. I advise you to bring lots of small bills in US currency everywhere you go just in case and defiantly go to the Coco plantation if for nothing else than the food. Since this was my first trip outside the US I felt like I was on a constant learning curve regarding service fees and various transactions and would defiantly advise booking extra excursions prior to going (and not just on the internet actually call the places).
“Lovely property”
Beautiful property; great location; lots of activities if you want to participate; 3 restaurants on site; lots of pools; located on hillside so must take shuttle to rooms or you have a steep walk; fantastic views from balcony; staff is very pleasant and helpful; received free upgrade on arrival to a larger room; allowed us both early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost
“WOW!!! Awesome Vacation!!”
We went to Windjammer Resort to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. It was paradise from the moment we arrived. Breathtaking seting, amazing service, wonderful people...could not have asked for more. Looking very forward to returning!!!
“We will definitely go back.”
The villas and resort were both amazing. The people were also very helpful. It was definitely paradise.
“Everything we expected!”
We went there for our 5th anniversary and everything was what we had hoped for. Absolutely beautiful location with your own bay and beaches to keep busy or just relax. The staff there was very nice and helpful. Everything you need as far as good places to eat are within the resort. We made it a point to try to do everything and be involved with all of the activities the resort puts on for entertainment and we had a great time. Everyone we met said it was their 3rd time, 8th time, etc....all loved it so much they kept coming back and I can see why! I would recommend it to anyone! We will bring our kids next time.
“Long Weekend Getaway”
Hotel Resort very customer service oriented. One of the few resorts on the islands that sits on the beach. There is not much night life on the island. Had dinner a couple nights at the resort restaurants. Italian restaurant was very good. The Upper Deck Seafood restaurant was costly and left a lot to be desired. The island overall is very low key. The locals are extremely friendly and helpful. We rented a car so we could go sight seeing around the island. We would stop to get directions and never felt threatened. Economically, the island is poor. Overall very pleased with the resort. Would definitely stay there again.
“WINDJAMMER LANDING - WONDERFUL STAFF!”
We went to Windjammer for a quick 6 day vacation (wish we had more). The staff at Windjammer could not have been more helpful, friendly and accomodating - top notch service. The location is near Castries and Rodney Bay but a little bit of a trek to Soufriere and the Pitons. Accomodations were very clean, comfortable and nice (not 5-star, but worth the money and a great value). I would recommend to friends.
