St. Lucian by Rex Resorts offers 260 guestrooms in two- and three-story buildings (no elevators) arrayed along Reduit Beach. Patios or balconies include two-chair dining sets and views of the pool, garden, or sea. Televisions offer U.S./international cable channels. In-room safes are available for a daily surcharge. Rooms have dial-up Internet access. Tropical decor includes rattan furniture and white-tile floors.

“St Lucia Rex resort”
Fantastic value for money, will be looking to go back at some point.
“I had a good time”
After veiwing the hotel and the room on the expedia website, the room and area of the hotel that I was given was different and less desirable. I reported a leak coming from the ceiling in the bathroom three times and nothing was done about it. The hotel staff were very nice especially the porter, he was the life and soul of the hotel atmosphere. The food was nice.
“Overpriced but good beach!”
This hotel may work out as reasonable value on a package trip based on all inclusive terms, but only if you are prepared to put up with a mediocre buffet. On "room only" rates the hotel gives (just) reasonable value so long as you eat out, even for breakfast. The rooms are respectable, albeit the room we had booked (King Bed) was not available. The development as a whole, other than the reception area, is getting a little tired but that's quite common in the Caribbean. One of the advertised restaurants has been closed, probably for the best part of three years. The A la Carte menu option is not strong in the main restaurant, and we didn't dare try to more exclusive Asian Restuarant given the prices. There are plenty of alternatives within a few metres of the hotel. The beach is good, and the larger of the two pools is too with a swim-up bar. If this is your scene, or you generally want to use the hotel as a base to explore the island, you'll be fine. But don't come here looking for great meals.
