“Brilliant Couples only Hotel”

Great hotel, location and service. Wil be going back for sure! The staff work very hard to ensure you have a brilliant vacation. The Dive team is excellent, and the diving is great. The inclusive dives are sometimes affected by visibility issues given that they are in the bay, but for the sake of a few dollars, going to the marine park is a must. Take the helicopter to/from the resort if you're travel sick on windy roads, as therre is a 1.5 hours transfer. It's expensive but worth it for the "cachet!" The local airport is absolutley NOT an issue. there are literally a handful of small planes everyday. The food and drink is varied and excellent, so the only reason you would get the same meal twice would be if you chose it" Highly recommedned.

“Great, romantic spot for two”

We stayed here on our honeymoon - overall a wonderful experience. The food was good, varied every night with a theme. The resort itself was beautiful, excellent service. Bed was incredibly comfy. Bathroom was very pretty, modern hardware and decor. Only two things of note: take bug spray for the mosquitoes and don't expect making a ton of new friends. Whether it was just the dynamic of our week or since it is a couples resort, we found that most couples just relaxed and stayed to themselves. My husband and I are very outgoing and enjoy meeting travel friends, but only had one couple that were similar to us! Otherwise, not a single complaint. The excursions are worth it and reasonably priced. Beach was clean. Note that during dinnertime long trousers are preferred for men and required for the Trysting Place - that would have been helpful to know. Otherwise, we would love to be back on the beach there!

“Great romantic get away”

Beautiful setting right on the beach. Staff is superb. I traveled on a number of cruise lines with tremendous service personnel and the Rendezous Staff exceeded the best! We stayed in Oceanfront rooms and really enjoyed the close proximity to food, beach and bars. Definately a couples only resort. Not designed for children. Men recommended to have have long pants for dinner, all else is casual. Can be very hot and humid in May-Jun, dress appropriately. If you are a smoker, bring your own. Very expensive for cigars/cigarrettes. If you rally like air conditioning, don't miss the piano bar. Final thought,...the staff make all the difference.

“Unbelievable Place”

This was my boyfriend and I first stay out of the U.S. so I really have nothing to compare it to but overall we were both truly amazed. It is a 3.5 star hotel but the property is very well maintained (every morning workers were out sweeping, etc.) and the rooms are nice as well. The food at the buffet is very good, we were always seated right away with our chairs pulled out and napkins placed on our lap by the staff. The staff were outstanding, they knew our names and we knew their's, they also mingle with you and even sit down and have meals with you. For the most part all the people were very friendly and we made some friends. The planes were not a bother at all. The beach is not private so there are locals down the way and some kids inthe water but it didn't bother us. It is a bit of a drive from the airport so we took a helicopter on our departure which was definitely worth it! I cannot ! really say anything negative about this place except when we had our massages they were doing hammering and drilling for some renovating which made the massage unrelaxing but we informed them and they left a bottle of champagne and apology card in our room. No need to really go outside of the resort unless you want to shop. Piano bar is open until last couple leaves and that was nice because we didn't have to worry about going outside for nightlife. Also, ice melts very quickly in the drinks so ask for double shots or even just straight shots.

“Loved it!!”

We definitely got MORE for our money. Would definitely go back. Not a place to honeymoon--it's very social. But it's perfect for a getaway.

“Great Honeymoon”

My wife and I could not have been happier about the hotel! We went for our belated honeymoon and loved staying here. If you are particular about towels, know that they are not very soft, but this was not a big deal as it was the only "problem" we could find with the hotel. Great staff, lots to do, and good food / drinks.

“Great getaway!”

I did quite a bit of research before choosing the Rendezvous, and was pleased with the generally positive feedback. We were traveling without kids, preferred more intimate settings, and weren't looking for opulence. We were greeted with the perfect combination of friendliness, comfort, and relaxation. St. Lucia is a beautiful island, and the Rendezvous was an excellent ambassador for its people and beauty. The food was excellent and varied, the drinks were available, and the water was amazing. We played some volleyball, did a lot of reading, did some sailing, and just relaxed. That's what it's all about, right? Great time. Great place. Would love to go back.

“I wish I could go back!”

Over all we had a fun, relaxing, romanatic and pleasant stay, all staf treat us great, we had a few days with rain, so they took a lot of extra care for the guests. It was Christmas so they had special events for those days, they were great!!! I would like to go back some day!

“wouldn't hesitate to return!!”

We recently went to Rendezvous for our honeymoon. We had not heard alot about it but had found it on the internet and read some reviews and decided to give it a try. We were very happy with our choice. The resort is very beautiful. Not your typical pricey totally new looking place but very well kept up and very clean. The staff was awesome and extremely helpful. The beach and outdoor areas were great. The view is spectaular as well as the food! I would go back in heartbeat! FYI we had read some reviews complaining about airplane noise since it is right by the airport. Here's the deal, there are only a few planes a day that go out of there and it is during waking hours. You hear the plane for about 10 seconds then nothing. It is kind of fun to see the planes going over! SO don't worry about this it is nothing you will even remember by the end of your trip!
