“very impressed”
Absolutely lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. Food choices were excellent and the hotel overall was fantastic, would thoroughly recommend for all age groups.
“Not up to spec”
I was not satisfied with this hotel. In fact, after two days I canceled the rest of my stay here and booked somewhere else. While close to the airport, the location is the worst place you choose if you want to be able to do everything St Lucia offers. While 16 miles away from Souffre, it is an hour drive. There is nothing to do in the area. The food is not good. My best meal was a grilled cheese sandwich.
“Great experience all round”
Super hotel, close to airport, good facilities etc.
“Excellent vacation experience.”
Coconut Bay is close to airport, which is very convenient. Food was good. Variety was excellent and quality was much better than expected for a buffet. The Italian restaurant food was excellent, except they keep the same menu for 7 days, so variety is limited. Food in the Asian restaurant was fair. It was not open every night and was not very busy. Pools were great. Swimming in the waves of the Atlantic was great compared to bathtub of the Caribbean. Beach and poolside facilities are excellent. Lots of activities for children. Good variety of drinks and quality was excellent. Evening entertainment was ok, probably what you would expect for resort. The staff were generally friendly helpful. Some are a little arrogant. The concierge tries to direct you to certain excursions. This is somewhat due to the fact that the Coconut Bay is far from the more active parts of St. Lucia, but also due to their favored vendors. So choices are a little limited. We did take an all-day, full island, excursion. The guide/driver was good, but spent too much time on his cell phone. The sunset cruise was great. Because of the limited restaurants and difficulty in getting around, would recommend all-inclusive for St. Lucia.
“A Very Fun Place”
The Entertainment Staff made Coconut Bay such a fun place. The dancing, the entertainment, the polo, volleyball, aqua aerobics, water slides. There was always something to do. The day trips to the ziplines and the sulphur and mineral springs were the best!
“Heaven on Earth”
Great place and the nicest people would love to go back again
“Best Vacation and Wedding Ever”
We just returned from 10 days in St. Lucia, 4 at the Almond Morgan Bay and 6 at Coconut Bay. The service and staff attitude at Coconut Bay surpassed anything that we could have imagined. As soon as you walk into the resort everyone is smiling and genuinly wants everyone to have a great time. The entertainment staff especially created a culture of fun and enjoyment that I have not experienced at other resorts in the Caribbean. We also were married there and I can tell you that their wedding coordinator Terri is an exceptional professional and took care of all of our wishes and expectations superbly. The restaurants are all above the average all inclusive and the drinks are strong and plentiful at all the bars. The only complaint I can speak of is that the location is an hour away from any diving facilities. There is a company that will pick up at the hotel, but only if there are groups of 4 or more divers going. You can take a taxi to go dive on the west side of the island but expect a cost of around $100 US for transportation. Other than that, everything with this hotel exceeds expectations for a 3 star hotel and we will be returning soon.
“Excellent experience and value”
The hotel was very conveniently located,5 minutes away from the airport. The staff and manager were friendly , very helpful and accomodating. .We found the food to be tasty and healthy. Kudos to the a la carte restaurant, Bellaggio!! The room credit was very useful and applied to cover the cost of the Land and Sea excursion,an enjoyable trip! We had a wonderful week and would recommend the hotel, as overall, it was an excellent experience and great value for the price!!
“The friendliest staff ever!!!”
My family's second visit to the resort, with children aged 7, 4 and 1. Kids club a big success with my eldest two, with free swim bags, water bottles, T-shirts and baseball caps! Staff treat the children as tho' they have known them for years - remember names, dance with them, joke with them...! You are welcomed from the moment you arrive with champagne whilst checking in, luggage brought to your room, invitation to a weekly manager's party...! Seen numerous wedding parties at the resort - looks very well organised. Twice weekly BBQs with cowboy shows and pirate shows are what I adore. Food good variety. Everything you need on-site but well-worth taking an island tour. Such a lush place and the guides are very informative and funny!
“Amazing place, excellent staff, highly recommended!”
We were so pleased with our stay at Coconut Bay, the staff were so friendly and helpful. They remembered us and involved us in activates. They went over and above to serve us and make sure we had a great time. This place was 5 minutes from the airport, it had everything you could want and offered great excursions all over the island. There was daily entertainment which was great. The resort was clean, the rooms were well maintained and the food was plentiful and good too! This was a fantastic spot to relax, de-stress and have fun. I would highly recommend it!
