The beds need to be updated...I would have been more comfortable sleeping on a rock outside than I was in your room.My sleep was minimal at best.

It was convenient to visiting relatives in Granite City. We stayed here a year ago also and probably will again. Breakfast was adequate with enough selections for most tastes

Stayed one night and everything was amazing. Staff overnight and daytime crew were are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and although I missed the breakfast I know it was amazing too. I took advantage of the fancy coffee machine and poured myself a latte. The area felt very safe especially since the police department is located right in front of their lot. I would absolutely stay again especially for the price. Thank you for making me very comfortable.

We were here for a wedding that started at 2 before check in. We went and spoke to Connie at the front desk and she allowed us to check in earlier so we could make it to the wedding on time. Great customer service, nice stay!

Decent for the price
Clean and serviceable hotel in a convenient location for our needs (a place in IL near but not in St. Louis). Beds were a bit hard but not bad. Located in a sort of "hotel park" with several other hotels and not much else around, but if you don't need shopping or amenities nearby, the location is fine. Would stay here again.

Very comfortable beds and pillows. The tub needed a good thoroughly cleaning, but other than that it was very nice. Vicki (the GM) and Connie (morning front desk) were amazing. When told about the tub, Connie offered to personally clean the tub to ensure it was up to standard and Vicki ensured we were taken care of as well. Only recommendation would be regarding the breakfast. Replace the meat (pork) with turkey. Not everyone can eat pork (health, religious, etc) however most people can eat the turkey. If not offer a no meat substitute (such as gravy with no sausage). Thank you Connie and Vicki you ladies are wonderful!

Horrible staff
Hotel policies strictly enforced : must be 21 or older to rent room, must give an email or they will refuse your prepaid reservation, must not live within a 50 mile radius. Must clean any messes you make by accident in the breakfast area or the line cook will run to tell management. Management came out to yell at customers for spilling their yogurt on the table barefooted into the lobby. The house keeping crew slept on the couch in the lobby every morning we were there.

Dear William After I heard the raised voices in the lobby from my office I came out to see what was going on to find you arguing with my breakfast attendant regarding your children dumping yogurt out onto the floor & other food. Attendant had just asked that you not let them leave the mess for someone to slip & fall on. The 2 housekeepers sitting on the sofa in the lobby have to come in early due to their car being broke down but as a courtesy to all guest they can not clean rooms until 9am. You had started raising your voice to me telling me why it was ok for your children to make the mess since you had paid for a room.RegardsVicki Reed GM

I booked the room based on reviews and cost. I was not disappointed. Roomwas clean, hotel was clean, breakfast is great. I would recommend this place anytime. Safe environment, police station next door.

Room was not cleaned. Hair in bathtub and on toilet. Bedding was dirty. They had to give us a different room because ours was disgusting! Whole place smelled horrible.
