Lovely hotel - central but quiet
Friendly staff & tasty breakfast .
Would have preferred a balcony as nowhere to sit outside & pool terrace needs parasols to provide shade in the extreme July heat .
Overall a good holiday

Excellent hotel, friendly staff, especially pool bar staff - raul on reception is a little unprofessional and casual compared to the other colleagues but this may be because the other staff are exceptional! All pool staff could not have done more especially a blond girl with very blue eyes (sorry can't remember name)
Stayed for 7 nights in May 2015. From the pick up at the airport to our departure, first class and George the driver was excellent too, despite George having to be available at a very early start on our return to airport. There was nothing to fault this calm oasis, highly recommended. Friendly and extremely helpful, nothing was too much for them, always smiling, all the staff with no exceptions. We are looking forward to our return visit in May next year.
Arrived late, was checked in quickly with a welcome letter and a code for wifi for the length of our stay. The room was nice, recently renovated, no problems at all except for a cracked mirror in the bathroom which let it down a bit. Breakfast was described as continental, it was better than that. There was a hot selection and eggs made to order. The coffee was pretty good, the 'juices' were not. The outdoor pool was functional if not a bit sterile. We found the staff friendly throughout, the lady on the tour/activity desk was extremely approachable and helped us book a Segway tour that was a lot of fun. The hotel is in a lively part of Malta. There are drunk people in the area, if it's not your scene..go elsewhere on the island, there are plenty of quiet, relaxing places to stay. Can recommend Comino on a sunny day but get away from where everyone huddles together at blue lagoon and find somewhere less congested..there are many! St Paul's bay was nice for a sundowner..enjoy Malta.
Close to busy St Julian's but quiet and secluded. Clean decent sized room ( worth paying extra for sea view to ensure privacy), bathroom needed more rails to cope with masses of towels supplied. Staff mostly polite and helpful. Restaurants provided mix of well cooked different styles. Pools were clean and lovely to swim in, but some parasols and loungers in need of repair and upgrading.
We used the Marina Hotel as a base while in Malta for a wedding. We had a hire car for which there is secure parking below the hotel. Staff were all helpful and cheerful and the breakfast restaurant was pleasant with plenty of choice. We found access to anywhere we wanted to go easy... plenty was accessible on foot from the hotel (decent shops, bars, restaurants and seafront)
The pools and poolsides are well tended and clean and towels provided. Good food is available both at the Marina and next door at the Corinthia and service throughout is polite and welcoming. There is an enclosed swimming area in the bay for anyone wishing to swim in the sea and watersports available too.

Flight were delayed for more than 5 hrs. on our first night we were given a small room but the staff in the reception that night told us that we will be moved in a bigger room the following day. When we approached the staff the following morning in the reception he questioned us why we want to move. So i told him this is not the room we booked. Then he said there is no bigger available yet and we have to wait. So we waited till mid day. Instead of we can see the places already we were stocked in our room.
Centred around St Julian’s Bay and St George’s Bay, St Julian’s is Malta’s prime resort. Pretty Spinola Bay (part of St Julian’s Bay) is lined with restaurants that overlook colourful traditional boats and modern yachts. The rest of the bay features large hotels, lidos, and a small pleasure harbour. Immediately inland, Paceville is a dense concentration of nightspots, and includes the Bay Street shopping and leisure complex.
