Staff at this hotel were brilliant. All very friendly and helpful. If you like a swimming pool / sauna / steam room, etc then this one is better than excellent. the gym is also well equipped. I spent a couple of hours everyday swimming and lazing about in the spa reading a book. The hotel is a reasonable (15 min) walk to the town center but the route down is pleasant. It is slightly uphill on the way back and the hotel itself is on a short steep slope. There is a large car park and I always found a space (but the spaces are small so hire a small car!!). All in all I would recommend this hotel and when I go back to Jersey I will stay here again - mainly because the spa was awesome, and the staff very friendly, although the rest of the hotel was also very good.
This hotel is just a 10 minute walk out of St Helier. It has very clean bedrooms which are quiet and the bathroom is spacious. The hotel staff and friendly and helpful and the breakfast which is included is lovely and there is plenty of choice. There is an outdoor pool and lounging area. The beds are very comfy.
Lovely hotel , geared more towards corporate clients / conference's etc not sure if this is the right hotel for a special occasion . Made a note on the expedia booking form that we where celebrating a very special birthday , check in at hotel was quite clinical didn't mention happy birthday or acknowledge it. Also we stretched the budget and booked the business class room which includes watching movies for free but one evening we where called by reception to say we hadn't paid for the movie we had watched the previous night so that spoilt another evening of our holiday explained they shouldn't have rung us as this is included in the room cost ! (we spoke to the duty manager the next morning and he apologised and offered us a free meal that evening). If you want that special feeling not sure this was the correct hotel. Doesn't take much to put flowers or small bottle of champagne in room on arrival just those extra touches to make you want to come back in the future.
It is close to the beach and the nice restaurants. The staff are very nice!!! They are willing offer help and the information is very useful. The beds are very comfortable!!! But the wifi sometimes can't reach the room. Overall, I really enjoy my stay in this hotel.
The capital of Jersey and home to fewer than 30,000 people, St Helier boasts beaches, shopping, and culture. High street shops include department stores, designer shops, and fine quality jewellery boutiques. St. Helier also has the Jersey Opera House, which offers musicals, dance, and comedy.
