“Hidden Gem of Napa”

One can get overwhelmed with options when doing research for an overnight getaway in Napa, because there are more than a number of quality places to stay, depending on your budget of course. That said, we were pleasantly surprised with the Ink House. Their website contains lots of useful info, but you really appreciate the place and location once you see it in person. The Ink House is quaint, and very charming. It's not as near as downtown Napa as some people would like (especially if the town is a major part of your itinerary). We found that being away from the hustle and bustle made us enjoy our stay even more. The hosts are very friendly, and offer awesome tips and advice regarding the surrounding locale. You get complimentary wine passes as well and we were lucky enough to experience wine pouring courtesy of Dutch Henry - with an amazing guitar/song repertoire to boot. For us, the Ink House's location is perfect. The decor and rooms are charming. And the hosts are the most gracious. Certainly one of the highlights of our trip.

“No Plans To Return”

I've come to expect a lot from B&Bs. This one disappointed us. From the lack of a friendly welcome upon arrival, to the lack of a single breakfast time for all guests to meet and interact, to the significant sulfur smell of the bath and sink water - it was not an ideal experience.
