“It was OK”

The hotel was listed as a three star, but is really two star quality. A true Best Western quality in the rooms. Although it was clean, they serve a free breakfast, and it was a good experience. I just felt like it was no where close to the quality of a three star. From towels, bedding, floors, walls etc.

“Best Western Abbey St. George, Utah”

Clean, nice size room. Close to I15 freeway and several good eating places. Excellent breakfast.

Area recommendations

Painted Pony restaurant recommended, but you have to have reservations -- really packed on a Friday night. Ate at Market 25 on Main St., excellent food.

Other

Understand State Park a few miles away is great, input from fellow traveler. We visited Zion NP which is close by and Bryce NP which is about 140 miles. Both great parks, beautiful views.

“Quite Satisfied, Great Breakfast”

The Abbey Inn was very much what I expected. The room was comfortable except for the usual noise from the air conditioner/heater, so common in Hotels. But, the buffet breakfast was outstanding with a several person staff keeping the buffet filled with fresh items.

“Family friendly hotel- amazing breakfast!!!”

I went with my husband for our anniversary to the Best Western Abbey Inn in St. George. I paid for the king suite and it didn't look anything like the photos. It was still very nice- just small and no jacuzzi tub. Everything else was wonderful. The continental breakfast was huge. Waffles, fruit, bread, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. The staff was excellent and it was very easy to get a late check out. The pool is very family friendly. They even have a small childrens wading pool. Down the street is a movie theater. Across the street are lots of restaurants. It's an excellent choice and when we come back again with our kids we will stay here!

“FANTASTIC BEDS! Very Nice Hotel and Staff”

Enjoyed the Abbey Inn in Cedar city last year. Fantastic beds. We come for the BEDS. Nicely appointed. Very nice retreat sitting area in a King room. Refrig, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer. The soap bar was very nice quality pleasant smell, not overpowering. Wonderful experience. Will return and recommend to our friends. The morning breakfast was complete, ample, and varied. The place was filled with family and kids. The pool was nice, did not get to use due to weather and kids but clean and pleasant. There was an indoor and outdoor jacuzzi which was VERY NICE. Will be returning in about two weeks and will try to stay there again. They were sold out of rooms when we were there but it was Memorial day weekend.

“clean and convenient”

Great hotel. Convenient and really clean. Good location near the freeway but not too far from the Main St. The staff was very thoughtful about the needs of the guests. Better than in some 4 and 5 star hotels. Bed covers are a funky color and the window treatment should be changed but I was very happy with BW and would stay there again.
