“Will never go back it was a joke”
The hotel was dirty and a total shambles,No head on the shower, the fridge and micro wave were both rusting, there was stains on the bedding,we just lay on top of our towels. The breakfast was one small tray of muffins and just about warm coffee,we took one look at it and walked out.I told the person in charge that i would be reporting the hotel to Expedia. It was disgusting, you could not walk on the carpet without shoes on,it was sticking to your feet.
“NEEDS TO CONDEMNED”
The most disgusting place Ive ever seen. After a 5hr drive, I took my two daughters and an entire baseball team looking for a different hotel at midnite. Staying there is not an option for humans. Dead roaches on the floor, live roaches crawling up the walls. Black mold all over. Feces on the toilet seat. rusted door frames. Unkept, unmaintained, unsanitary. Notifying the board of health.
“Horrible experience”
By far the WORST hotel I've ever stepped foot in. The lobby was dirty and smelled like vomit due to the fact they have a bunch of birds. The room was dirty and I don't mean housekeeping forgot to clean, dirty I mean you need to rip everything out and start from scratch dirty. The housekeepers don't even have cleaning supplies, sheets or toiletries in their carts. The bathtub & sink would not drain and they did not have a maintenance person to fix it. There were a couple of bugs in the room. The A/C would not cool below 78 I could go on and on. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE sad to say because it is in a great location on the plus side the pool is nice and the beach is literally 2 minutes away.
“Horror Show!!”
First, I'll start off saying that my family and I are not real hard to please. We've stayed in most of the cheaper hotel chains and never had a complaint. I'm the type of guy that doesn't even send food back at restaurants, I'm very easy to please. With that being said, this was the worst vacation in my life. This hotel is a mess, the lobby itself had wallpaper falling off the walls. Each room they placed us in were just unreal, missing appliances, furniture from the 70's,exposed electric outlets, pushpins holding wallpaper up, rusty unmatched fixtures, wet, filthy and old! This was supposed to be a "Ocean front Room" more like a truck stop dive. People were complaining, and switching rooms the entire time I was there. I felt nothing but disgust and regret the whole stay! This place should be condemned !
“Stay away...REALLY!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!”
It was simply disgusting!
“AWFUL”
I stayed here a couple days at the beginning of July and it was awful. The first room was terrible so we complained. They let us look at another room and by the time we could get back to the front desk to tell them we would take it they gave it to the people in front of us. The next room we were given the key to look at had people already staying in it. So onto our fourth room we decided to be satisfied but believe me if there any other hotel available we wouldnt not have stayed here but unfortunately it was Juky 4th weekend and no place was available! NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN!!
“"Unkept and Unpatriotic"”
My family and I went to the last shuttle launch and decided to drive up to St Augustine Beach for the the rest of the weekend. We always like St Augustine area and usually stay at the Fiesta Inn or Hampton. We called on the way there, but all rooms were booked. However, Expedia sales agent said they had one room left at St. Augustine Beachfront Resort for a special price right on the beach. Wow, sounds great. We never heard of the place. Now I know why. I arrived to a lobby that looked like it never been cleaned . I thought I was being "punked" . Soiled rugs, dangling wallpaper, smelly birdcage and a talkative parrot. The front desk never got the memo the 70's were over and the pack rat manager's office had piles and piles of papers with the door open for everyone to see. The small voice that says RUN, I didn't listen too. I sided with the other that said It's too late to find somewhere else. We stayed away from our room as much as possible and enjoyed the beach and pool. It was sad to see a property with this locations so poorly managed. I had a local biker stop me the next morning while I was packing up our car. He pointed out the tattered resemblance of the American Flag on top of the hotel. Can you believe that? he asked. Before I could answer he went on to tell me about how he had complained multiple times to the front desk but no one cared. Maybe since your a guest they'll listen to you he said. I really don't think they're the listening type. I said, but I'll try.
“this place sucks will never go back”
A/C did not work gave me a crap room then moved to another crappy room, no hot water, run down, paid way to much money for this crappy hotel, pictures don't look like the hotel, have to walk down to the beach nothing but rocks behind the hotel, hot tub not hot, not enough on towels, had to go the the front office on saturday they checked me out and i paid for 2 nights, toilet not safe almost fell over.
“Stinky Rat Hole with Horrific Staff - Never Stay at This Place”
The $30 charge for cancelations is the only reason this place may still be in business. At check in, we were given keys to someone elses' room. We were then "up-graded" to another room, which was the filthiest place we've ever stayed. The shower curtain and towels are dingy... well we only had one wash cloth for 4 guests. We finally got addl linens from the only kind staff person we met and the wash "rags" The bathroom were nasty and gnat infested(low water pressure and clogged drains). The carpet was filthy and stunk under furniture was inches of filth! The pool slide closed shortly after check in and the Hot Tub was cold. Next morning staff finally showed up 15 min late, with no towels available, no continential breakfast (as advertised), but promptly tended to big dog and parrot! One clerk said they only made breakfast on busy weekends... this was Daytona Race and July 4th weekend (not busy enough for them)? Both ladies began to argue with my husband and tell him to "shut up" til they sounded like their pet parrot. We finally got Expedia on the phone again, as we did the night before, and had the clerk state to him we were checking out to not have to pay another night because we weren't staying in this RAT HOLE another minute! The clerk even threatened to not let us check out... LOL The Hilton (across the street) felt our pain and knew exactly where we were staying and let us check in at 7:30 a.m. that morning. Needless to say, we got our linens and bath at the HILTON!
“DO NOT EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL”
Upon arriving i there were 2 people in front of me checking in, the one staff member that was there was in NO HURY AT ALL. it took over 30 minutes to check in....with 2 people in front of me. We checked into the room and the carpets were WET and STICKY, the room was filthy and furniture was falling apart. I asked to be moved to another room and it was at least as bad. Do not ever stay here, this is the nastiest hotel i have ever stayed at.
