The room was comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. We were able to walk to the old town and attractions - no driving!!!!

Booked this Victorian B & B as it looked tradition the city and decent value I liked it enough, my wife not so much We knew it was an old house but the bedroom Ed seemed a little cluttered and musty in parts. However, it was comfortable enough Decent breakfast each morning and free parking were a bonus

Great place to stay if you want to do anything in St Augustine. Great breakfast and a quiet happy hour on the porch. Staff was outstanding. Will surely come back.

Penny Farthing was charming. Ann was especially attentive to my girlfriend who has a gluten sensitivity. It’s in an excellent location.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay in this historic location walking distance to everything. Great breakfast every morning and beautiful home to enjoy during our stay in St Augustine. Plus on premise Kitty cats a plus!

This is our second time at the inn, the staff is amazing and friendly. We stayed in the Tree House Room and have already made reservations to return. It is easily walking distance from nearly everything you would want to see. Lovely place

We have stayed here twice and the service and atmosphere are by far our favorite thing! Its within 5-10 min walk from downtown st aug. The breakfast is amazing!

Weekend in saint augustine
Wonderful setting and location. 5 minutes away from shopping and dining. Terrific, friendly staff. Our only drawback is parking. Some patrons have brought their oversized vehicles and their is only a couple inches of clearance on both sides of our vehicle leaving the parking area. Our rental vehicle sustained scratches from the shrubbery due to the oversized vehicles in the parking area. Parking is meant for compact vehicles and not trucks and large SUV's. Loved the place but we will not return due to the parking situation.

Very nice Inn!
Very nice Victorian house in good condition. House could use a power wash to brighten up the yellow paint. Breakfast was very good. Between 4-5 they had complimentary wine with a few snacks put out. This was nice after an afternoon of seeing the sights. Back stairs to 2nd floor need lighting at night. Room was very nice as was bathroom. Our patio had a swing that was fun to sit and pass the time.

The house and room were beautiful. The staff were kind. It was our first time staying here. We usually have stayed next door and love jonathan. The lighting switches in the room are in weird places. We would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful B&B. Stayed in the Tree House, very lovable. Can't wait to return and stay in the other rooms. 9 min walks to just about everything. If thinking about it, just do it and book it!

Perfect location walkable to all the historic st Augustine sites! Awesome breakfast-I’m Celiac and they even made me gluten free French toast! What a treat! Room was clean and roomy with a comfortable bed and nice bed and breakfast homey touches. Parking was a little tight but that’s because the inn was full! That’s a good sign. VERY very nice staff-wish you all the best!

I never leave reviews, but wanted to add something for anyone who's like me and debates over a booking for way too long based on the 3 negative reviews, even when the other 97 are positive. If you're considering booking here, just do it! The location couldn't be more convenient for walking around downtown St. Augustine. I felt safe outside alone at night, especially since it's so close to the well-lit and populated Lightner Museum. The building is 130 years old, which I loved because I enjoy the character of old buildings, but go in to it with those expectations and don't book if you're looking for a shiny and new hotel-like experience. The parking was a struggle, but that's due to work going on in a nearby property and the staff were very helpful with assisting in any challenges. That brings me to the biggest reason I would recommend staying here - the people! The staff was kind, welcoming and accommodating, and the guests created such a nice culture where everyone greeted each other and would get to know strangers over breakfast. Would love to stay here again and would recommend it to friends anytime!

It was just an okay stay. The place could use some TLC. Outdoor seating was not clean. Only one staff worker on premises to do EVERYTHING. It is in a great location and breakfast was okay. The lady working was VERY nice.

This property was average; not horrible, but it definitely not a five-star experience. The location was fabulous--within easy walking distance for attractions, shopping and dining. The parking is a stone lane along the side of the building. The number of spots equals the number of rooms. If you're last in for the night, you're left with the "compact" spot with the end of your vehicle hanging out into the lane, no matter the size of your vehicle. We battled mosquitoes in the room and on the porch. One could not sit on the porch without a citronella candle and OFF! Our room was legit frigid and controlled by the adjacent room. I wore a fleece shirt and wool socks and used their extra blanket and coverlet (both doubled up on my side), and a blanket I brought from our vehicle and I wasn't too warm. We asked for a little more heat and may have gotten a degree or two.... We saw one staff person the entire three nights we were there, in the mornings to serve delicious breakfasts, in the evenings to put out wine and cheese/crackers or cake (!?), and then she left for the evening. We did not get the military discount because we booked through a third party. :-(

Wonderful place in a great location. Sandra was very happy to assist and prepared an excellent breakfast. Quiet side street with a Victorian flare. Would highly recommend this Inn for your stay.

It was a beautiful Victorian house with nicely furnished rooms. Bathroom was a little small. Breakfast was great, and the workers there were very friendly and helpful.

Walk to everything.
We stayed at Penny Farthing inn because we had never stayed at a B&B in ST Augustine,.Check in was a breeze. Breakfast was good but they have no alternative breakfast in case you don’t like what they serve, no yogurt,muffins,danish,or oatmeal. So maybe find out what they fix before hand. Employees were outstanding. Location was great ,walk to everything. House is a little worn. Needs a little T L C.

Beautiful Victorian bed & breakfast. The host was awesome, I wish I had her name, but she made our stay so comfortable and pleasant. Walkable to historic St. Augustine, the fort, shopping, etc. I highly recommend the Penny Farthing.
