La Fiesta Ocean Inn & Suites offers a variety of accommodations. You will feel like you're in a Bed and Breakfast when your complimentary fresh, made-to-order breakfast from our in-house bakery is delivered warm to your room or suite.

Fiesta Suites feature a spacious living room including a granite wet bar with refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker plus queen size and twin size sofa-sleepers; 27 inch TV, and most with an additional 3/4 bath. All suites have a private king bedroom with fireplace. 2 balconies or patios in each suite.Cherry wood furniture is featured throughout the suite and in the private king bedroom with romantic fireplace; most with Jacuzzi bathroom. All suites feature new"Serenity" pillow top bedding. Two private balconies or patios are provided with each suite.You will feel like you're in a Bed and Breakfast when your complimentary fresh, made-to-order breakfast from our in-house bakery and newspaper are delivered to your suite each day. Breakfast for our Suites includes fresh baked scones and muffins, bagels, yogurt, fruit, plus selections of egg and cheese croissants and Belgian waffles. All suites are equipped with a DVD player and an electronic wall safe.

Our Garden View King Rooms feature spacious accommodations overlooking our award winning gardens and waterfalls from your private patio. Enjoy a complimentary delivered breakfast delivered to your room each morning. Choose a room with romantic fireplace or a room specially appointed for handicapped guests with a generous bath and roll-in shower. All garden view rooms feature new "Serenity" pillow top bedding. While the Garden view king rooms are not ocean view, the property is on the ocean and the private walkway to the beach, heated pool and award winning gardens are enjoyed by all of our guests. “loved the breakfast and friendly staff”

Good beach access and nicely decorated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool was heated and kids loved swimming. Put-put golf course next door. Breakfast brought to your room was a very nice detail. Fairly close to downtown St. Augustine. I would stay here again

“visiting mom”

visiting relatives over thanksgiving. decent beach front hotel. double queen room, first floor back end facing beach. only 2 minute walk to beach. second floor will have an ocean view. room recently painted and new bathroom tile. clean. a little musty, but typical for a lot of beach front hotels. free breakfast delivered to room. starbucks and grocery store less than a mile from hotel.

“Recommend”

The hotel staff in lobby was helpful in recommending a great restraunt and friendly otherwise. The room was clean. A complimentary breakfast was delivered to our room . Miniature golf was conveniently located next door. Overall, I will stay there again.

“Great stay for the value.”

Friendly and helpful staff. The room was very nice and the location was not that far from the historic district. Sometimes it's the little things that make your stay memorable. The continenta breakfast to your room was a great touch! Would stay there again.

“Needs work”

The hotel was old, the pool area needed to be cleaned up. The room had 2 beds but was not big enough for them. Need to update the TV, furniture and rug, The room was clean but old. The beach area was beautiful. The people who work at the hotel were very nice. Found some bugs in the room.

Area recommendations

If you want the beach this would be a good place, if you want to sight see something closer to downtown area.

“Will go back again”

My husband and I passed thru St Augustine a few years back and stayed on the bay for a night and said we would return one day, So for our 20th anniversary we decide to go back. I searched several places but came back to La Fiesta a couple times before choosing. I read several reviews on other travel sites and all the most recent reviews were good so we made our choice. "I love this place! from the front desk staff to the room size and cleanliness, the beautiful walk way that lead to the beach lined with different types of flowers, the large very inviting pool to the wonderful breakfast delivered to our room daily. We can not say enough about the place and will definitely go back again.

When to go

Definitely go on the Schooner ship for a sunset sail it was amazing.

Getting around

Use the trolley to get around, you can park for free at there main stops. You can use the beach bus that will pick you up in front of the hotel to go into old town where you can pick up the trolley this is part of your trolley ticket.

“Somewhat disappointed”

This hotel was satisfactory for the one night we stayed. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. We loved the fact that we got to place a breakfast order which was delivered to our door at the time we specified even though the menu was limited. The room was clean and tidy but our luggage rack was broken, so we couldn't use it, the bathroom is updated but extremely small. Definitely not enough room for a women! Wouldn't be able to deal with it for any length of time.

Area recommendations

Historic St. Augustine is awesome! We ate dinner at Columbia Restaurant which was fantastic! Shopping in St. Augustine was great.

“Excellent!”

This place is very nice, but what makes it even better is the excellent service of the entire staff. The room was very nice, remodeled, everything was new, very clean and comfortable. The beach is a short walk away, 2 minutes. Breakfast in the room every morning at no additional charge, excellent. We forgot a hat in the room when we left, they called me and will send it by mail. Definitely this place knows how to treat guests. I recommend 100%. Thank you.

“Will stay there again”

The La Fiesta on the Ocean was great. Had private access to Anastasia Beach, which was nice. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast brought to your room... try the scones, you won't regret it! Also, the hotel offers complimentary beach towels, so you dont have to bring any... a bonus. The Old Trolley Town Tours offers free beach bus to and from downtown St. Augustine with the purchase of a trolley tour... they are good for 3 days. My son especially loved the mini-golf right next door, and the hotel offers a discount. Overall, a wonderful stay... wish it had been longer. will most certainly stay again!

Area recommendations

Go to downtown St. Augustine! It is worth the visit. Also, make sure you hit the lighthouse... as seen on Ghost Hunters. Also, for ghost fans, lots of old history and night-time ghost tours. The Castillo was on Ghost Adventures with Zak Bagans.

Getting around

Old town trolley tours is the best if you stay at a hotel outside of town. If in town, any trolley service will work.

Shopping

Make sure you go to downtown St. Augustine... lots of great shops of St. Georges Street.

Family-friendly activities

Lots of mini-golf places... go to one, get a discount on the others! The Alligator Farm was fun for my son, but make sure you get there by 12 PM for the feeding show. They have a zip-line, but children must be 10 yrs old, and you have to book in advance. And be sure to take the Black Raven Pirate boate ride on the river. My son had a great time!

Outdoors or beach

Primarily went to Anastasia Beach... not as crowded, and you can drive your car on the beach.

“Can't wait to go back!”

We wound up in this hotel as a result of reading Trip Advisory notes on our original hotel - the St. Augustine Beach Resort - the comments were so bad, we called and changed our hotel to LA Fiesta, and boy are we glad. The staff was friendly, the room was clean cool and comfortable. The pool was really clean and nicely landscaped. They bring your breakfast to your room. What a great place. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a super relaxing vacation. thank you la Fiesta - we had a great time.
