“Best Kept Secret in St Augustine, FL”
Immaculate Room, Cozy Bar, Great Little Restaurant and beautiful Spanish decor. Location is unbeatable - overlooking the bay and historic Bridge of Lions. Walk to historic sites, shops, etc.
“Great View of the bay”
Very nice hotel located on the bay, near most historic locations and good restaurants.
“Amazing Location, but $21/day for "complimentary" valet parking”
The hotel is extremely nice, the pool is small but very nice and it overlooks the bay. Everything is in walking distance from the hotel. The furthest sight-seeing locale is the fountain of youth which is a mile a way. (the beach is about a mile as well) My only complaint was the cost of parking, which if I read all the fine print I would've have seen that it wasn't free. But Expedia said $18/day and when we checked in the actual cost was $21/day, so just add that $100+ to your stay a head of time. (Never ate at the restaurant because it was way overpriced. Too many amazing restaurants within a 5 minute walk!) Great breakfast at Mary's Harbor Cafe which is 2 doors down. Amazing pizza at Pizza Time on St. George Street (Cash only) Great Gelato at Cafe Del Hidalgo on St. George
“Loved it!!”
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. You're right there in the historic distric loved the location!! Lots of attractions within walkin distance.
“A great experance, made so,so.”
Maid service did not show up untill 4:00 pm? Thats the time we were gitting ready for dining! Not the best of time. So the room was not cleaned. The hotel information channel advertized $6.00 Martini hour, 4 to 6 When I asked for a Vodka Martini, I was told that was not included?
“Great Location”
This hotel is situated right across from the water in downtown St. Augustine. It is within short walking distance of many historic sites, shops and restaurant. As with all Hilton Hotels, the service was quick, professional, courteous and friendly. Great place to stay.
“Everything I expected and more!”
I made all of the arrangements for our business trip and the Hilton St. Augustine was a great choice. We had minimal time between meetings and were close to lots of historical sites so it was easy to squeeze in a quick walk to a number of them when time allowed and still be back in time for business. The hotel was everything I expected and more and I hope to return for a personal vacation and really take in all the sights St. Augustine has to offer!
“Will come back”
Extremely friendly staff from front desk through maids and valets. We had only two issues; mattress was very stiff and the ice machine was out of service for at least four days. Everything else was virtually perfect!
“Expensive Parking”
I wish the hotel would have told us about the $18.00 parking fee in their web site.
“housekeeping not included”
Great location, nice looking hotel but they did not clean our room. We were disappointed to return after a full day of sightseeing to see our unmade beds, dirty towels and the bathroom with just a few squares of tp left. When I called and mentioned what had happened, they tried make our fault by stating we must have left the Do Not Disturb Sign out which we did not.
